I understand this is pretty old but I found a little something.... Actually, if you look at this picture, http://www.johnnyupsidedown.com/new06/ga39a.jpg And you zoom it in all the way, you can see that these so called "nets" are actually more "meshy" than one might think. I dont know about you, but that looks like it could stop loose change to me!

That was really off topic. Anywayz, I dont see anything wrong with parking lot coasters (as in the ride itself). However, I do not like the fact that some parks are just to lazy to do anything even close to trying to make it look nice. (ex- Scream)

If there is one theme park that REALLY needs a roller coaster and needs it soon, its gotta be Six Flags St. louis. Let's think about this, they have six roller coasters (not counting the kiddie coaster), and only two of them are really worth riding (speaking of the facts that: Mr. Freeze and B:TR are clones, Ninja sucks, and the River King Mine Train is the most pointless coaster in the world). So now let's examine the two worth riding, the Screamin' Eagle is ancient (but still a good ride) and the Boss is pretty rough (with those damn Gerstlauer trains). Also, the last coaster they built was the Boss, and that was built in 2000 for Christ's sake! So my argument is that SFStL MOST DEFINATELY needs a new coaster, and if they dont get one soon, I think I'll cry.

I think a lack of comments and/or people not liking the park has a big impact. Its mostly a lack of comments though. Then again, it is sometimes ME not liking the park.

Frantic is a wild intamin hyper coaster that is 225 feet tall, but only has a 190 foot first drop. I really couldn't decide whether to make this an Intamin or a B&M because it has so many characteristics of a B&M, but also those of Intamins. In the end it turned out to the 'Elissa friendly' type! All the supports on the lift hill are custom, they took ages. A lot of the other supports are pre-fab but there are some handmade ones too. Now I know you dont want to hear me blab about how I made the coaster and what not so here are some pics. Frantic.nltrack This is my caption for this one. Intamin-ish overbank. This is an impossible question. These are two completely different things. One is a park builder and one is a roller coaster simulator.

Your points were mostly lost in lateral G forces, Pumping, and flow. These things are simple to fix and your coaster was actually pretty good. The problem with flow was it seemed to go places it didnt want to go, if you know what I mean. Blazen_AZN's entry is a VERY good example of flow, check his out to know what I mean by flow. Acttually your coaster was very good, I cant belive you built something that smooth and graceful in an hour. Personally, I would buy that coaster to put in my park! (I would ElBlufer's too) Thanks everyone for entering!

I have quickly graded the three tracks I recieved, and didnt correctly grade technicality (which was supposed to be graded by Jakizle) so here are the results WITHOUT technicality figured in: 1st Place with a score of 89% goes to Blazen_AZN (w/ technicality weakly figured in the score is about 89.5%) 2nd Place with a score of 82% goes to ELBlufer (w/ technicality weakly figured in the score is about 81%) 3rd Place with a score of 45.5% goes to freefall (w/ technicality weakly figured in the score it about 44.75%) Thanks to the three people who entered this contest and I hope you had fun. Well maybe a mod can make this a sticky topic, it seems to be a problem with many people, and it is definately needed in this forum.

WELL! Today is the due date, and I dont really expect getting anymore tracks. But that is entirely ok because I dont really feel like grading them, they take a while. Im not saying I wont grade them if you turn them in, IM just saying I wont be pissed if no one turns anything else in. But today is the due date so get those tracks in!

I like that coaster too! Wildcat is a playful little kittie, its great fun! Im not ashamed about it! YAY!

I know everyone has one of those coasters that they really like, but they are ashamed to say. So this is where you can let it all our without getting made fun of. My closet coaster is Ninja at SFStL, is actually quite enjoyable if you brace yourself for the sidewinder, and you can get a lot of air time in the backseat! ALL RIGHT! VEKOMA AIRTIME! Be sure to include a picture of your now shameless machine!
