My rant also has to do with restrooms... not just at theme parks, but at grocery stores, my college, etc. Guys, if you use the stalls to take a leak, LIFT UP THE DANG SEAT!! I used to think peeing on the seat was a habit that people outgrew, but apparently not.

Granted, but the genie granting the wishes misunderstands you and takes away everything you have, leaving you with... nothing. I wish YouTube would get rid of their obnoxious Google Music ads.

I've been lurking for a couple of months, but never introduced myself. My name is Joe, and my home parks are SFMM, Knott's, and Disneyland. (I'm also one of the seemingly few people who enjoy Viper and would be sad to see it go.) I'm fairly new to the roller coaster world, as my family didn't spend much time at theme parks when I was a kid. I'm scared of heights, but I've discovered my favorite coasters involve tall lift hills, steep drops, high speed, and lots of airtime. I'm not really a fan of endless inversions.

I was standing in line to get my credit on Green Lantern at SFMM and the ride broke down just as I reached the gate. It ended up being closed for about a month after that. When the ride closed, a guy that was strapped into the ride started yelling taunts at the people in line. The ride op unstrapped him and escorted him out.

Anyone know what's up with Apocalypse? It's been closed for at least a month now.

While I've never dealt with the Flash Pass, I think SFMM should have a separate entrance line for people who wait until they reach the turnstile to dig through their pockets/purses for their passes.

I was there that same day and was amazed at how empty the park was. Every ride was a walk-on. Scream broke down on the lift hill, with me on it. We were back up and running after a minute or so. I took advantage of the short lines and stayed on the rides that are normally packed, like X2, TC, Tatsu, and Goliath.

Viper at SFMM (there's never a line).

It looks like I'm in the minority; I'd be disappointed (though not surprised) if Viper is scrapped. It's no longer the biggest and baddest looping coaster around, but I enjoy it. Maybe it's just me, but it doesn't seem any rougher than Riddler or Scream. The fact that nobody goes on it means I can ride it 2-3 times in a row.

As I mentioned in another thread, I've only really been to theme parks here in SoCal (ie., Knott's, Disneyland, and SFMM). The only GCI coaster I've ridden is Apocalypse at SFMM, so technically it's both the best and worst GCI coaster I've ridden. I wouldn't wait in a 2-hour line for it, but I do love that ride. I suppose you could count Ghostrider at Knott's as a GCI coaster, since GCI refurbished it last year, but I haven't ridden it in at least 5 years. SFMM and Knott's have their share of B&M coasters, and I have to say my least favorite is Riddler's Revenge. People complain about Viper being rough, but I can ride it 3 times in a row before getting a headache (which I usually do, because nobody ever goes on Viper ). But one ride on Riddler's Revenge gives me a headache AND leg cramps, every time. As many times as I've been to SFMM, I've never ridden their Intamin coasters, so I don't have an opinion on those. I've heard Green Lantern is painful, and Superman is closed every other time I'm there. Flashback was long gone before I started going to MM.

I live in SoCal and haven't really traveled to theme parks in other states (or even in other parts of California). My record-breaking coaster repertoire is restricted to SFMM, for now: Full Throttle Tatsu Riddler's Revenge I haven't mustered up the courage to ride Drop of Doom yet, and Superman is usually closed when I'm there (probably because it's usually cold, with rain in the forecast, when I'm there). I've been to Disneyland and Knott's, as well; anyone know of any record-breaking rides there?
