  1. Hooray for today! I just hope that this was not an over hyped announcement! I would be really dissapointed! But... can't wait until they say something!
  2. Yes... something breath taking. Well... maybe they are going to re theme Runaway Mountain to be completely dark... but... wait for it......................... completely air free! BREATH TAKING!
  3. ^ Oh... yeah... you are right. I always forget about the theater by Judge Roy Scream... as I hardly go down there anymore. But you are right... so a theater is DEFINENTLY not the new addition... but everyone knows is going to be the first 500 ft. Rocket Coaster... known for reliability!
  4. Well... I have recently been... and Isaw no signs of construction. And... I will be going one more time before the park closes after Holiday in the Park. I will be sure to look... but by Monday... I will know what to look for!
  5. If I'm right... the 10 new flat rides were going to be put in under the old management. But SFOT has still improved... when I first went this summer I found the staff incredibly nicer and generally happier at their jobs.
  6. Well... there is space next to Gotham City in that closed shopping area. Last time a cheched... Six Flags owned that area.
  7. HAHA... yes, I saw your SFOT Trip Report... and it's so true. But to answer your earlier question... they have two indoor theaters. In addition, they have an outdoor "Batman" type theater. On top of that, they have a fairly large outdoor amptheater. So, I think you are right about a show not being the new attraction becuase it says "capital" and the amount of theaters doesn't justify for a new one being built.
  8. Yeah... that is what I found funn about the information released by Six Flags. Everyone knows that SFFT is always number 1 in shows in Texas! (Or at least the people in charge on the Goldet Ticket Awards think so). I really hope it is not a show however.
  9. Okay... thank you. That budget is not too bad... could get a fairly nice ride! But who knows... only 4 more days!
  10. Does anyone here actually know what the budget for SFOT might be around. I'm just curious... who knows... maybe they actually have a budget for a high cost roller coaster.
  11. Yeah... Goliath would be great to move to SFOT! This about it... Goliath and Titan can have a duel to see which Helix of Doom will cause people to black out faster! I vote for Titan... as it has that extra little helix thrown in there!
  12. A flyer would be REALLY nice... but then again... I might just want the XTRA LARGE Churro Cart!
  13. My first ride with inversions was Shockwave at SFOT! Two in a row = Two times the loopy goodness!
  14. I am just wondering... whatever the new attraction is... where it will be located. I'm sure they have great spots... but they are hard to find.
  15. I'm kind of leaning on the large flat ride side of things as well. If it were a coaster, we probably would have seen some construction... maybe. So... a large flat ride sounds like the BIG thing. Hopefully it will be awesome!
  16. Yes... Superman: Tower of Power was the last major attraction... not including the 10 (well 1 is a water play area) attractions for the 2006 season, which were generally geared towards younger children.
  17. Hooray for my home park! As much as I would like to see a new rollercoaster... preferably a thrill (not family) type... it will never happen right now. it is kind of sad because we havn't recieved a new coaster since 2001 with The Titan. I guess a new coaster could fit where Shochwave currently is... but that will not be taken out for some time due to it "history" or whatever. As much as I love that ride... i think it is time to go... not destroyed... just relocated, if possible. It's a great ride... but it just doesn't draw crowds at all anymore. But anyways... hooray for something BIG!
  18. I do have a pretty good PC and graphics card (nVidia 7600 GT) It works pretty well... except for when the parks become huge, then the problems arise.
  19. ^ Exactly! The game should definently never go back to being a 2D game. With 3D, so much more can be achieved. However, as goleafsgo said, thay should just work on the engine more to better make use of the parks so they don't lag immensly.
  20. Thats really good the Mr. Freeze is re-opening, but, does anyone know if the Mr. Freeze at SFOT is going to open also this weekend. Just a hope! -Andrew
  21. I think that the names of companies in the game could and would be a very important thing to have. Even for people who don't know what they are, it will allow them to feel like they are really running a theme park, even of they think the names are made up . Also, another feature is that a dowload system, like The Sims 2 online system, could be implemented to keep current with the industry. New train styles, like the new Vekoma inverted trains, for example, could be downloaded. Even just a new theme for a ride or train could be found online. I think that would help the game succeed for a long time. (If it ever comes out ) -Andrew
  22. I was once stuck on Batman: The Ride at SFOT on the brake run right before the load / unload area. It was in the middle of the summer, and the non-air conditioned metal room was very hot. I was there for about thirty minuets when they finally got the train in front of us to move! -Andrew
  23. I have had this experience numerous times while waiting in line for rides at SFOT. One of my favorites is when people are in line for Superman: Tower of Power and ask why the seats say S&S on them. I find it extremely humerous when people don't know the companies name and try to make it work for Superman & (SuperFUN???!!!???) or somethng. -Andrew
  24. If I had to choose, I would probably go with a Space Shot because of the airtime at the top. However, I think that the combo towers like Superman: Tower of Power at SFOT are much better than both of the choices. ^ Also, I never really liked Mailboomer. It's not very high and the scream guard (rignt?) in too claustraphobic in my opinion.
  25. Yeah, I've just always felt a strong hope that SF would "RULE ALL"!!!! Okay, doesnt have to dominate! I just liek them because they seem to take more chances than some other parks do. (No more chance taking anymore though) -Andrew
