Sir Clinksalot

Hi, Today, me and my boyfriend decided to boil some eggs. We started them boiling, checked the clock and it was 1pm. We then decided to go upstairs and play RCT3 for the ten minutes or so it takes for them to hard boil. At almost 2pm we remembered them. I couldnt believe that nothing bad had happened to them and they looked normal. My question is, is it possible to burn an egg when you are boiling it? And has anyone else got any egg-boiling stories?

I've now done part of my waterpark, complete with a Body Slide and Aqua Blaster. I'm still not sure about my waterfalls at the entrance, but at least the path now tunnels through them! This poor guy has just finished his ride on Bocakey's Body Slide! Hope he is ok!

I know, I havent finished with it yet! The waterfalls may not even stay, I was just tired and wanted bed so I saved where I was up to. I love RCT3 but I'm crap at putting a park together and can never decide on what goes where, so I reckon this will takes me ages and it will change it's appearance several times! But thanks for the comments!

I voted no because I'm a communist (well, that's what my dad likes to call me). I hope, in our lifetime, we can look back on the events of the last few years with 20/20 hindsight and be able to see all the corruption that has soiled our nation (and that soilage goes to both political parties, so don't think I'm bashing your boy(s)). Robb, I totally have to point out that I respect and agree with your decision to keep this one open. There's been some flame bait tossed out here and there, but no one's taken the troll path and the flames have been kept remarkably under control. It's really amazing how different this site's community is compared to pretty much anywhere else. Hell, even the Pollyanas at Intercot get a little hissy with each other (then again, how many times can you do the "WHAT'S YR FAVE RIDE AT DISNEY" poll before your silicon chip gets switched to overload?). Yup. Red Dawn beat it out by five days (was there a competition to see who could come out first?). "Gremlins" was also part of the conversations when they were discussing the PG13 rating (though what did it matter? Back then, nobody carded)

It was difficult to know exactly what you meant from your initial post. Near-flaming isn't exactly easy to quantify, most heated replies could be construed as "near" or even full on flaming. Attacking someone is quite different though, especially personally and I totally understand your stance. Personal attacks are out of order no matter what the circumstances. I totally agree with you, just your initial post wasn't particularly clear for those who haven't come across the cases you are referring to, it sounded more generic than it is. But ultimately at the end of the day, THAT is the point of forums, any DISCUSSION will have people voicing their opinions and people will ALWAYS disagree. People tend to percieve THEIR opinions as right no matter what, although some people can and do respect others opinions, It tends to depend on age alot. The whole point of forums is to engage people in discussion, sometimes heated because that is the nature of the beast. To not allow that kind of defeats the point of having a forum. If things turn personal then those people REALLY need to get some perspective and calm down, that's definitely out of order but that's when warnings/bannings take place. Most of the time if a topic is about something that people feel strongly about, Politics, Religion, Wars etc. then I simply don't post, it's not worth the potential upset.

Yeah, I don't think you have had to ban anybody yet, and it's kind of nice to keep it that way. But, as with anything there are always some bad-eggs.

^ Actually it was Red Dawn. But, what movie caused them to think of having a PG-13 rating? Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. The feeling at the time is it wasn't intense enough for an "R" rating, but too intesne for a "PG" rating. It did end up only getting a "PG" at the time though.

I want to say Dreamscape was the first PG13, but I can't swear to it. You can get away with three f words, but only if they aren't used in a sexual manner (ah, the consistency of our morality overlords).

Watched "The Lost Boys" on DVD last night. Still an awesome movie all these years later.

Nice TR. Sorry about all of the 1 train op, but with the weather lately it's a miracle the park was even open. Knott's would be closed for another month. i've stayed in the burj al arab hotel and it is so cool. i could happily live there. other cool places i would consider are china, italy, south africa and ireland. all of those are great countries.
