  1. My main goal this time was to create a terrain-hugging coaster, along with a bit more complex supports. I spent more time on the supports and building than I did with the track! Tidbit: I didn't use the track smoother or AHG on this one.
  2. Gallium Stats: Max Height - 60ft. Max Speed - 55MPH Length - 1950ft. Inversions - 0 Gallium is an extremely fast, low to the ground ride. At a speed of 55MPH, it assures a high intensity ride. Gallium.nlpack
  3. ^ Yeah. Ragin Cajun's line was PACKED the whole day along with Superman; therefore, we avoided them. I was disappointed that Cole couldn't get on Superman since that was the one he was like "Are we going to ride that one?" with. Ahh well, maybe next time! Benzo - AE was running the red train; the blue trains were on the transfer track.
  4. I hope some freak accident doesn't happen to me on a roller coaster... it's almost like I'm getting these empty park days for a reason!
  5. My cereal was called "Lucky Charms" it's basically a simple grain cereal with marshmallows. It's delicious!
  6. And my sister hates all of you I might get one... I only have one hoodie right now - I could use a TPR outfit without that donkey on the back.
  7. Oh great... he's going to pound the sign.
  8. Don't let the bad comments get you down - it really is a great coaster! It's just that SFGAm went overboard with trim brakes on it. So if you are looking for a fast ride, this isn't what you're looking for.
  9. ...well we already knew that.
  10. Aww... TIGHT! The other one looks like it came from American. XD
  11. Some dude at SFGAm two weeks ago had your ketchup shirt on... but his was faded and crap-like. I had to do a double take - couldn't get a picture for you.
  12. Six Flags Great America - September 3, 2006 Number three of my 6 planned SFGAm trips taken this year! I have to say, I had a great time with my cousin, Cole. The greatest thing was his expression after getting off of his first roller coaster (he was adopted from Bejing two years ago). Sorry about taking almost two weeks to get the TR up - I like making the TR's... just not photoshopping the pictures. So, here you are - the last photo TR of me at the Marriott's Six Americas of Greatness *arg* I mean Six Flags Great America. End results of the parade, or a giant pinata exploding? You decide. Marathon riding on Raging Bull... Has this photo of Viper ever been taken? Maybe? Maybe not? Don't know? Too bad. Forget about it. You'll never find out. Woah... my face looks retarded in this picture. "I'm a pharmacist who likes beer... meeeehhh!" V2 decided to launch, stop, restart, BLOW the Intamin siren, launch, stop, restart, BLOW the Intamin siren AGAIN, and finally work. Best. Photo. Of. TR. I waited 9 minutes to get you all this ugly picture of Dejacrap Vulgarity. Never again... coming out of the huge helix was like Ryan getting tackled by Casey - "Oh shit oh shit!" Demon decided to E-Stop when we were at the gates... oh well - we got a semi-painful, but not as painful as the other seats, front row ride! How's that for a line? 10 minutes for a B&M hyper = yumm-ee-ness. Is it really possible to figure out which turn this is? I mean, Raging Bull is ALL turns! At the bottom of each hill, the ride provides some nice positive G's, along with a free vibration massage! I love shouting random stuff at people so they smile at the camera... "WOOO VIPER YEAHHHH!!!" Brake Run photo - dum dee dum! Empty station - here we come! Can anyone guess what turn this is? Seriously, I can't remember. Sure, take a picture of SheiKra going up its immelman, but NO - you can't take Raging Bull coming up the second hill! Dumb camera... "That was so cool, Andrew!!!" W0000! Signature Whizzer, braces, and uhh... cousin (?) shot all in one! It's Whizzer time! XD Okay... time for some schwarsoijdhsaoijpf goodness. Oh wait... uniform E-Stop. So I sat there listening to the "schpeel" with which I'm proud to say that I, too, could become a SFGAm ride op! As they'd say in the deep south, "Mama, is the rolley coastey gonna come back down?" I took geek photos for a bit while we waited. So we headed over to wait for Cole to get dropped off... Superman is still being endsville'ish. So we park right at the front of the lot (we got there at around 9:30) and got to see Superman... you guessed it - E-STOP!!! LOL LOSERS! I officially pronounce this sign the "99.9% Impossible to Photograph Sign" Best. Weather. Ever. ...watchin' Tom dress up like a pimp to impress the ladies. So I sat there, a'eating my Lucky Charms... Well... this photo explains one thing. I am NOT a morning person.
  13. Yer CRAZY! I'll post my next TR later today... after tons of homework.
  14. *UPDATE* We visited the park again, and luckily it wasn't too crowded. I got a chance to ride on all of the rides and sneek a peak at all of the new construction and things! Shiptrap Island is really starting to shape up. When I first came, it seemed like they just stuck a tropical themed waterpark in the middle of nowhere. However, as construction goes on, all of the little details are starting to make a big impression. And to finish it off, a photo of The Edge at night... it's pretty cool flying through caves when it's pitch black out. It basically drops about 40 feet and does a CRAZY airtime ramp at the end... you fly off of the slide before the slide actually ends. Then, we went on "The Edge" or whatever it's called... That is a VERY intense slide. Although it only does three turns, the final turn almost flips you all the way around the tube! We're gonna ride the rock slide! Attendence starting rocketing up by about 11:00. But the main reason we came was to RIIDDEEE THE WHIRLPOOL!!! (hey Cameron.) Snazzy! Soon, we will be able to stay the night! The waterpark is nice and empty in the morning... well, that makes sense since it was FREEZING! Check out the new entrance building! ...yeah.
  15. DOn't thank me, your coaster is hella tight [/teengirlsquad_voice]
  16. Highway pieces that would cover up a piece of mini coaster track (so it would look similar to Test Track at WDW)
  17. Lucky for me, I have my own 3-d glasses from the local Science and Surplus... Pretty awesome, IMO!
  18. Long story short, we're reading "The Most Dangerous Game" in Lit class... if you've read the story, then yeah. If not, too bad for you Anyways, this park is not supposed to be based off of Shiptrap Island, the park is just named after it. I went with my family yesterday and might I say, it's a pretty cool park. I apologize for the photo quality. See what I mean? We'll be back in a few weeks. Rumor has it that they're re-building the entrance, a new waterslide, and something called a cliff diver... I'll keep you guys posted. Right when hundreds of people came pouring in, we snapped a shot of "Tidal Wave" an S&S double shot. I heard that the waterpark's designer was inspired by Disney's Polynesian resort volcano slide. All of the slides twist and turn through the fiberglass mountain. A few hours before the park had its grand opening, we got a VIP tour!
  19. Ugh... they should just put in a crystal maze.
  20. When a train is full, it weighs well over 5 tons. The constant shifting weight of the train would make the boat rock. Although, I've never been on a cruise before. Andrew "Rock the boat! Don't rock the boat, baby!" C.
  21. I loved the second drop - now THAT'S what I call a HOLY S***! drop. I made an on-ride photo keychain type picture thing.
  22. Where can I change that? It's a dell widescreen. If this helps... I have an XPS M170
  23. The chain doesn't keep the train from rolling back; the anti rollback dogs and rails (or whatever you want to call them) keep from doing that. My guess is that they will install anti-rollback strips beside the LSM's since it's a very important safety feature. Andrew "Clankity clank!" C.
  24. I guess Intamin just doesn't want them to release it in the public version...
