If you haven't noticed I am a huge Stitch fan, so when I heard that Alien Encounter was going to be replaced by Stitch I was thrilled. I rode Alien Encounter when I was seven and it terrified me, so I understood why Disney was wanting to take it out. Alien Encounter just didn't fit in with Magic Kingdom, you have the family friendly rides and then sheer terror the ride. I did research on Alien Encounter recently and learned all about it's very interesting history. I have the up most respect for all of the hard work the Imagineers put into creating the Alien Encounter, so I was pleased to find out that Stitch's Great Escape would be a toned down Alien Encounter. All of their hard work wasn't going to be destroyed, just altered to try and make it more suitable for it's audience. The audio animatronic Stitch is by far the most detailed and life like animatronic I have seen. I haven't had a chance to ride the attraction but I got to see Stitch's animatronic on Disney channel. After Stitch's Great Escape debuted I started reading reviews on it on-line. The vast majority of guests were not pleased with the new attraction, saying it was still too scary for children and hard to follow. Guests said the show only had about thirty seconds of the Stitch animatronic, then the room was pitch black. The life like Stitch, while a cute and recognizable character, was still quite frightening to young guests. There is also a part where Stitch belches and the smell is said to make all guests nauseous. Since it's debut Stitch's Great Escape has already had Imagineers spotted in the second show chamber working on a new ride program. Another change is the height limit was raised to keep younger guests out of the attraction that was designed for, younger guests. Disney just can't seem to get Stitch's Great Escape to be tame enough for the Magic Kingdom. Stitch is a very popular character, with fans ranging from three years old to fifty years old. While I think Disney did a very good job creating a ride that is true to Stitch and a toned down Alien Encounter, I am not sure if the general public is able to see and respect the attraction for what it is. I think parents should take the time to find out what Stitch's Great Escape is, make sure their child knows what will happen and reassure them it is all just make believe and actually read Disney's warnings about the moderately scary attraction. While I have not had the chance to ride Stitch's Great Escape I respect it greatly. I would like to hear what fellow TPR members think of this attraction. Thank you for reading my post on this attraction and I appreciate any feed back I receive - Stitch Stitch's Great Escape

Elsmere Adventure (Rct2 - Park)
Stitch replied to Stitch's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
I have some unfortunate news, while doing a regular update on Elsmere Adventure Rct2 had an error and crashed. I tried to load Rct2 again but it kept getting an illegal operation error, so I uninstalled it and attempted to reinstall it. For some reason the installer crashed at 54% and now it won't let me install it. I read online about this error and found out I have to edit my registry to get Rct2 to work again. So, until I get this problem fixed my project is on hiatus -

Paramount's King's Island is my home park and I have no clue where that brick is . If I had to take a guess I would say it may be in the Paramount Story section. -

Here is a little something I came up with to show the difference in views between America and Europe European's view on violence and sex. American's view on violence and sex.

I think the new King Kong movie looks really goofy, with all it's cg and Jack Black as the main character but it isn't too hard to beat the Godzilla remake .
-
I know everyone has a favorite of these two movie mosters, let's see who will reign supreme here on Theme Park Review. All you have to do is vote on the poll, leave a comment saying who you chose and a brief description why. May the best monster win . My vote goes to Godzilla, he is a giant Komodo Dragon with fire breath and a real bad temper towards large cities, what's not to like . While I think the Godzilla remake with Mathew Brodereck had some good parts, the original Godzilla remains my favorite. King Kong Godzilla

Oh ok, thanks for clearing that up for me. I like how there's just you and Elissa moderating instead of a team, it makes the site more personal and fun.

I love the personal photo trip reports, they make it so members can see the person behind the member name. It's always nice to get to know more about another member because then you tend to have more respect for one another and just become better friends . I have a question for you Elissa, is the fast food place behind you in the Oreo picture a Hardee's, Carl Jr's (I think that is it's name) or something else? The star by the name is used by Hardees (A rarely seen burger chain on the east coast) and Carl Jr's (A burger chain just like hardees in Oklahoma) so I figured it might be one of the two.

I was going through my profile doing a regular update and error check, when I saw the User Group tab. When I clicked it I saw "User Groups - None", what is a User Group? Are User Groups something we make and have other users join, does it have to do with adding members to your buddy list, or something completely different? I appreciate any explaintion I get

Shaolin Soccer Amazon.com - $13.34 and reviews If you are a Kung Fu movie fan you will like this movie and if you enjoy random humor, you will like this movie. Coming out of Hong Kong it has a low budget but still manages to look cool. The Cg effects are very obvious but since it is a Kung Fu comedy it works very well. This movie isn't your Jackie Chan or Jet li action film, it is a comedy with Kung Fu in it. There are two audio versions English and Chinese to choose from, so if you like to watch foriegn movies in sub-titles or dubed voices you can. I love this movie, it isn't one to be called the best or worst, it is a rare movie because it is just good, no more no less.

Which Disneyland Attraction are you?
Stitch replied to Sir Clinksalot's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
The Pirates of the Caribbean: A swashbuckling adventure! Yo ho, a pirates life is indeed for you, seeing as you are the classic Disney dark ride that presents a time when New Orleans was under attack from a band of treasure loving bandits. You have a bit of an edge, and an element of danger, and you can scare the youngins, but for the most part you mean no serious harm. You are youthful at heart, strong and energetic, with a taste for the good life, if not hard work. You have romantic notions about the adventurous life on the sea with no rules and no responsibilities except to your ship, but you also weary and worrisome of the fate that eventually gets all those who those who live life on the lamb, stealing gold for greed and burning down cities for your own delight. You are what you are, and you're out to enjoy the glamour of your wild days while they last! Despite your rough surface, the people know you have heart and they will always come back. -
How many old video games do you remember???

My favorite old arcade game (other than the major hits like Pacman, Galaga, etc.) is Snow Bros. Here is a link that shows the game, case and has some general information on it. http://www.klov.com/S/Snow_Bros._-_Nick_&_Tom.html -

Blackpool In Rct3!
Stitch replied to martin182's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
You can't make massive parks that everyone can see in Rct3 means, since it seems to be a difficult thing to understand, when you make a very large park in Rct3 it will cause your system to slow down and most people's computers can't handle it. In Rct2 you can make the largest park, fill it with rides, scenery and peeps and the majority of people with rct2 will be able to run it fine. If you want to have some vendetta with me over my views and statements over a game that's you problem
