  1. The sad part is... They used to... I feel pretty lucky to have one of the last BTR clones that were made (was built about 15 years ago) just a few hours drive from me. That's the newest forceful coaster I can think of off the top of my head. Makes you wonder why they stopped making their coasters run balls-to-the-walls like they used to. My guess is it's to reduce wear and tear on the coaster, but I could be completely wrong about that. I've never seen a BM invert that has trims or MCBR. I know Silver Bullet doesn't and is forceful as heck. It was built in 2004.
  2. Me too. And WJ had promise. Maybe if each train only had one car (like a Euro-fighter) instead of two it might have worked better.
  3. Not only did they swindle Knott's, they also won the lawsuit. The damn thing was so poorly designed winds of ten miles per hour shut it down.
  4. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. Dueling Screaming Squirrels! I have been waiting for this to happen. But realistically, an giant S&S 4D Free Spin would be a perfect fit for that whole area. Are you listening Knott's? Hopefully one that would actually spin unlike Green Lantern at MM Different ride altogether. New /\ this /\
  6. Yes, and on that note, is there any word what will happen in place of removed Top Spin? A blogger posted pics of landscaping, lights, and sprinklers being installed so probably not anything in the short term. Personally I think Boomerang has run its course. They should remove it and put in a Euro-fighter style coaster. Dueling Screaming Squirrels! I have been waiting for this to happen. 7. What constitutes a "small" park? I consider Knott's to be a small park. You can literally walk the whole park in fifteen-twenty minutes if you don't stop to look at anything, but that's a result of it being surrounded on all sides by residential areas and a shopping mall.
  8. Dark ride flume: Splash Mountain DL (Disneyland). Timber Mountain Log Ride KBF is a close second. Outdoor flume: Log Jammer MM
  9. Full Throttle. It's not bad, it just doesn't live up to the hype, and it certainly isn't a ride before you die coaster.
  10. Looks like buying Busch Gardens is doing wonders for SeaWorld Entertainment. Now I wonder why SWSD hasn't built more intense coasters?

  12. I think they did it freak out riders to make it look like it will fly off the top.
  13. Hi, I'm a noob, so let me introduce myself by asking you experts if drop towers and tower swing rides are considered to be flat rides? What about rides like "Test Track" or "Radiator Springs Racers" or "Autotopia"?
