One of the things I'm most excited about, from last weeks podcast, is they're going to have Big Red in all the drink stands now. -

My guess would be yes, why else would they be saving it up there. -

^ I talked to her Saturday, after the Graveyard Smash show. She said they would be announcing a couple of " New Things" for next year soon. I think a Air Race would be perfect for Sparklers old spot and maybe a new waterslide over by Hyena falls. -

I was there yesterday also, the Coasters were running Wild. I got 7 rides on Thunderbird, 3 in a row without having to get off, throughout the day. Still nothing compares to The Raven, in the dark, after rain. -
How Often Do You Go To Your Local Park?

I've had passes to KK and HW the last 2 seasons. I live 15 miles from KK , so i go there almost every Sunday. I have only been to HW 2x so far, planning to go Saturday, the other two times was preview night for Thunderbird and a Tuesday in July. -

No, just the Car ride by Blue Streak, the one on the main midway is staying. -
That's an awesome idea, TPR part on Crittenden when testing starts. I just can't get over that drop, coming out of the barrell roll, I noticed two things A) you pretty much half-way down and b) there's like no noticeable curve at all, its a straight shot to the bottom. This will start out the ride with a huge kick in the pants! I'm there, lets do it!

^ I've been the last two years, crowds were greater last year than the year previous, but still manageable. Expect 30 minute waits , on the main attractions. I'm sure it will be a little more crowded this year due to Thunderbird and word of mouth. It's a great family event, so expect a decent crowd, but not like a busy Saturday in the Park. Make sure and check out Holidogs 3-D Adventure, Carnival Chaos, the Corn Maze, Graveyard Smash and the Laser Show that ends the night. All rides are open except Raging Rapids, The Legend and I noticed this year that the Revolution isn't listed as open. It had been the last 2 years as Resurrection, maybe something is wrong with it this year. You should be able to get everything in and get some rerides in. I'm sure you'll have a great time and make sure to get a night ride on Thunderbird, it's fantastic in the dark. -

It is posted at all rides, that the lines will be shut down early to accommodate all riders in line by closing. I don't like the idea, but I understand it. When I worked at SFKK, we shut our lines down early to accommodate all riders by closing. I think Kentucky Kingdom still does it. -
Went to the State Fair Friday night for some night rides at the Kingdom. During the Fair Kentucky Kingdom is staying open til 10 or later, depending on the crowd. Cyclos looks great at night, rode it 3x in a row and Lightning Run once. Kentucky Kingdom is offering everyone free drinks during the fair. You can get tickets at Kroger for $9.95 or $19.95 at the fair, a great deal either way as all the rides are open and they have 2 shows at the Sea Lion Splash show. Cyclos all lite up

I had a pass to both this year, but next year I'm just getting Kentucky Kingdom. It's 10 miles, verses 65 miles, from my house and now offers free soft drinks. $59.95 is a great deal verses $139.00 for practically the same thing now. Kentucky Kingdoms Water Park is about as good as Holiday Worlds now, plus they have more thrilling rides like Cyclos, Skycatcher and the 2016 addition Storm Chaser. I'll most likely still visit Holiday World during their Halloween event, but I won't be getting a Season Pass. $59.95 compared to $139.00 is a win, win situation.

I have a feeling we'll see a " Air Race", go in Sparklers old spot. It could fit a 4Th of July theme and I don't see them leaving that area empty. They done moved the Strike Up game down in Thanksgiving, opening that area up again. -
Went to the Park today, seen John. He said they have a second train for T3, it's in storage, but it won't be in service til next year. He said they're right on schedule for Storm Runner next year. Track has arrived and should be going in place by the end of the season. It was busy as hell today and he said they've had a few great weekends, that they've been very happy with. I asked him if there would be anything else New next year and he said " you'll know in a couple of weeks". Sounds like they may have something planned for The Zeppelins former spot in that area leading to Storm Chaser. Wouldn't expect any thing big, just something to fill the Zeppelins old spot possibly.

They no longer have the ' Locked Bins", now you just place your belongings in a " Bin", which I don't like. If they run 2 trains someone could grab your stuff.
