  1. You People waste too much time on Break Downs and hourly capacity, who cares. They are mechanical machines and don't run a consist line, who really cares. There is going to be problems that arise and they will deal with them as they can. A hourly capacity is set for a ride that runs with no problems, that usually don't happen every hour.
  2. ^ It's bright red, I noticed that today when I was there and was going to post pics.
  3. You should be fine, the rides lines through the week are 15 min for most anything except T3, it can get up to 45 minutes at times.
  4. Kentucky Kingdom isn't spending 15 Million to redo TT. On the website there is a statement from Ed Hart stating it " would" cost as much as 15 Million to build this New: Since we’re all about creating exceptional thrills at Kentucky Kingdom, Storm Chaser fits the bill. Storm Chaser would normally cost as much as $15 million all-in but we’re saving money by using some of the existing superstructure from Twisted Twins. However, because of the new configuration, taller lift hill, and many other innovative features, we are essentially redesigning and building a new coaster. When’s the last time you dropped ten stories while doing a barrel roll?” – Ed Hart, President and CEO of Kentucky Kingdom I'm still very excited for this Coaster and can't wait til next year. It will definitely be a BIG hit for the park.
  5. I was there Tuesday, got my Thunderbird count up to 25 times, over 3 visits so far. I love that coaster and in the dark it's even better, can't wait to go back and ride it again next month. The Voyage is a better ride since they stop you on the MCBR. I had back Surgery 2 years ago and since than it doesn't bother me near as bad.
  6. He's just a CP fan boy , who is upset because Kentucky Kingdom is getting something unique, besides a " Dive Coaster"
  7. I think they will join the main entrance to the former Twisted Twins along to the former Top Thrill Dragster, in a new entrance under the " Cork Roll" and do away with the former along Thunder Runs turn.
  8. I have no idea how much it would cost but if some complain it's rough (I haven't ridden it) while most really enjoy the layout, wouldn't it be nice to see RMC replacing the existing track with topper track maintaining the exact same layout? It could be the second, behind Storm Chaser for this new Hybrid of Coaster
  9. I worked Twisted Sisters, the first year it was open, also my first year employed with KK. Will miss it but I'm glad they're resurrecting the ride into something better, Storm Chaser looks fantastic and only 15 minutes from my house. Can't wait til Summer 2016
  10. Local news just reported that Kentucky Kingdom is set to make an announcement this afternoon about a New Coaster coming next year. Looks like we'll find out today what they are doing with Twisted Twins.
  11. I'll be going on Tuesday, can't wait to get some more rides on Thunderbird.
  12. Just left the Park, T3 is just as rough as before minus the Head banging. As far as Twisted Twins, one lift hill has had the bottom half of it's lift removed and the one other as had the top of it's lift plus half the turn around removed to the first drop. Not much track left on any of the coaster at all, no telling what they are doing. Didn't get any pics as I was driving down Crittenden Drive beside it.
  13. Going to the Park tomorrow, I'll try and get Pics of what is going on.
  14. Yeah, it is opening tomorrow, got certified this morning.
  15. ^ they only have 1 Train for this year, till they see how it does.
  16. They were actually letting the train run etc? I know it's a dumb question to ask, but in the past my definition of testing is different from others.. Yes, they sent the Train around 4 laps while we were in line.
  17. Just left the Park, while waiting in line for Deluge, they were testing T3. Maybe it will be open by the weekend.
  18. At the park now, you could see from Mile High Falls that both Track and structure has been completely removed, on Twisted Twins. Both sides Brake Runs plus all the course to the lift hills are gone, work has definitely started on Twisted Twins rebirth. As far as T3, there are no breaks in the station or the break run. The Train is half way in the station, it is tied out. Took a couple of pics with my phone. Breakrun Station T3s Train is tied out of the station.
  19. Was at the park today, had a pretty good crowd, considering School is still going on in this area. Cyclos is awesome, it's my favorite flat in the park now. Walked by T3, going to Raging Rapids and they were 2 guys up by the lift motor. You could here the lift chain but they never sent the train. There is only 1 Train, so I guess they're going with a single Train til they see how it's going to do.
  20. Cyclos was open yesterday for Amazons Park Buyout, seemed to be going over well with the public.
  21. Great reports guys. I'm hoping Cyclos, gets tested this week. I'll be going Saturday, with a friend that works at Amazon, for a park buyout. I've yet to try Skycatcher, on either trip I've made this year, but I plan to Saturday.
  22. Works fine on my phone, glad there is a Full Site button.
