They are adding something else New next year along with T3 and Raging Rapids. Maybe we will see a Frisbee ride go in Top Dragsters spot, it would fill in a void between Thunder Run and Raging Rapids. It couldn't be too big because the flight path goes over that area, but it would be a nice addition.

Nice Little Park, thanks for sharing. -
When I go to a Amusement/Theme Park, I want something different, that's part of the experience. I don't want, Mickey D's, Subway, Panda Express or any other Corporate Food Chain, I can eat them anytime. I want something Local our your typical Amusement Park Food. KY. Kingdom, has a Chef who has several, Local Dishes offered that are great.

The park (and especially Lightning Run) look great and I'm excited about visiting during the New Hotness trip in a couple of months, but I do have one question. How do you go about deciding which words you capitalize? I tried to determine if there was some sort of pattern or hidden code, but I couldn't figure it out. I'm not trying to give you a hard time - you use punctuation and sentence structure, so it's not hard to read...I just find it peculiar. I was just putting strong emphasis on certain words, sorry, I tend to do that in my writing.

Thanks Everyone, for your Comment's. I LOVED Lighting Run, it's a Air Time Monster. The only reason the line was 2 1/2 hrs. was because they were only running the Green Train, the Purple Train had arrived Wednesday and hadn't completed testing. They do put the Lap Bar down Snug, I never noticed the Leg Guards, but your still comfortable and come up on the Hills. All the quick turns are taken very smoothly and fast. The First Drop is the Best, but I also like the Twisty S-Curve, before the final 3 Bunny Hops. The Park in Whole looks Great, they still have some Landscaping and final touches to do, but all in all in Looks Fantastic. The Employees was tested on Preview Day, I heard Amazon had 22,000 People plus the ACE Members, so I'm sure they will get better as the Season goes along. When I worked at Kentucky Kingdom , I remember going back each Season and training New Employee's on Everything. It takes Time to Teach and Certify New Employee's, if done properly. This Crew is Starting New, Ed brought back some People he worked with originally, but 90% is NEW.

Holiday World (HW) Discussion Thread

I'm putting my 2 Cents in and going with a Aqua Trax for 2015. They kept the Station and Splash Pool from Giraffica. The Coaster could fly through the Woods next to Voyage and then Splash Down in Giraffica's Pool. Just my Thought............. -
Went to Kentucky Kingdom yesterday, with some friends from Amazon, the Park was PACKED. Every ride had a line, waited 2 1/2 hours for Lighting Run, it is a BLAST! Once you go over the Lift your outta your seat til you hit the Breaks. It's a very fast, smooth ride. Very nice Coaster for the New Kingdom. The Park in whole looks very nice, everything looks new again, the New Waterpark will look nice once they're finished landscaping. Can't wait to go back and try out Deep Water Dive. Almost bought some trunks yesterday to ride it, the line was very short, but it was only 65 degrees and cloudy for the most part. The New Kentucky Kingdom New- Fear Fall New- Lighting Run The Big Surf Thunder Run The Giant Wheel Ed Hart is Back New- Wikiwiki Wai Slide Complex includes, Calypso Run, Kilawaya and Waikiki Wipeout New- Family Wave Lagoon New- Adventure River New- Wave Runner and Deep Water Dive New- Plummet Summit Tornado Bella Musica Flying Dutchman King Louie New- Fear Fall New- Prof. John's Flying Machines Hair Time! Out of Your Seat Back in Your Seat Another shot of Wave Runner and Deep Water Dive New Trash Can New- Beach Club, serving Cold Drinks, Beer and Frozen Drinks. Me in Hurricane Bay, by the Catch of the Day. Mile High Falls, is back, minus the Mountain.

Holiday World (HW) Discussion Thread

They're a Great Family Ride that's Cheap, Fun and it Fit's Holiday Worlds Theme. Not Sure what Holiday World is planning for next year. I think Holiday World will eventually use PP/G station, for Something. They will continue Splashin' Safari along The Tree Line, next to Voyage Keeping their Corn Mazes, but Holiday World will use PP/G Station for something. From there they will continue towards the road, turn right and use that area for Thanksgiving. From there they will go back uphill towards the Picnic Shelters and reconnect by Raging Rapid's. In that Area they create another Holiday. Just my thoughts, of what I would do. -
Ed has turned it around, making it a Money Maker once before, he can do it again. Ed is the one who invested in Chang, T2, Mile HIgh, Giant Wheel and other New Attractions. All Six Flags added was A Used Roller Coaster and a couple Water Slides. Six Flags attendance capped off in 2005, we went into the Black that year, nothing New " Ride Wise" was added after that. Hellavators accident began the Downfall of SFKK, it never recovered after that. Had Six Flags invested more Money into the Park it could have helped, but Six Flags reputation with the Park was damaged by then. Everyone locally knows Ed made KK what it was before Six Flags took the Park over and we all know he will do it again. Look what all he has put into it this year, he knows you NEED New and Many attractions to get the People in. Six Flags hardly ever added anything, they Closed and removed more than they added. I believe The New Kentucky Kingdom and Hurricane Bay will do well, they already sold close to 100,000 Season Passes, they went up to $99.00 Monday night but the Local Kroger Store is offering them for $69.99. Their Drink and Food prices aren't bad, they offer Free Tube's and Sun Screen ( which SFKK charged for) and they have More to Offer then SFKK did when it closed. I'm looking forward to visiting again, I was going to work there again but I had to turn it down, I've missed my Kingdom.

Everyone needs to stop bitching about the Track Style, you haven't been there and Done that yet! Who Really Cares About The Track Style, no One But YOU! In The End, it will matter how the Coaster Rides and what People think about it. Stop Complaining about single spine, double spine or whatever it may be. Just sit back and enjoy your ride on it, that's what matters in the end!

If Holiday World wanted to add another Dark Ride, it could be fit in the Halloween Section. There is plenty of room between the Legend and Splashin' Safaris Entrance. But they will focus on Thanksgiving now, to build it up, so it will eventually have another Holiday, to connect it back to the 4th Of July. -

No, you didn't influence my decision in any way, it was mainly a joke. I'm just not going back til they add something new. -
