I was browsing the internet when I found a photo of the parking lot entrance. I noticed a mistake in the logo. Welcome to Five Flags Astroworld! LOL Five Flags instead of Six -

Am I the only one who noticed that the top of Superman at SFSTL still haves the "castle" look from when it was Dungeon Drop? -

Well, I know one obvious change: an RMC update on Texas Cyclone And maybe a Tony Hawk's Big Spin/Pandemonium spinning coaster in 2007/2008 as well! Not to mention Fireball -

I hope you guys in La Ronde enjoy Graviator. It's not fast, but it haves enough force to push you to the side (that's the best part) -

So, by the looks of the picture of the car (with that awkward moment LOL) I'm guessing that one side of the harness stayed stationary while the other is size adjustable, right? Edit: and it looks like a B&M ride because of the track, really is it an Intamin? -

I totally agree. If I owned a ride like that, I would refurbish it and put it in another park -

Am I the only one to notice that the top of Superman at my (now) local park still haves that "castle" look? Dungeon Drop now at Six Flags St Louis -

I love these photos. I wish I was tall enough to go on these rides. 2 comments: There is one more Sky-Swat operating: at Thorpe Park as Slammer I just noticed this now. I visited SFOG last year and rode Georgia Scorcher. The safety harness on Batman looks different Thanks for the pics! -

Keeping those rides in storage sucks. Let's see what rides are operating today (this list is not in order) Mayan Mindbender (Hornet-Wonderland Park) Gunslinger (Fiesta Swing-Wonderland Park) Warp 2000 (Harley Quinn's Spinsanity-SFOT) Runaway Rickshaw (SFOT?) Serial Thriller (Ednör-La Ronde) Diablo Falls (SplashWater Falls-SFNE) Big Kahana (Darien Lake) Dungeon Drop (Tower of Power-SFSTL ) You are welcome to add onto the list if I skipped any -

Ah. The memories. At least the cars are in the middle of Le Monstre at La Ronde. Just out of curiosity, do you have any other pictures of Astroworld? -

I really enjoyed SkyRider but, I'm glad it's doing great at Cavallino Matto as Freestyle oppose to being scrapped like it's sisters. But, I don't think one of the wooden coasters would have been RMC'd. From what I've heard and seen, Cedar Fair is more interested in re-tracking wooden coaster than they are converting them to steel hybrid coasters. But, I think Wild Beast deserves a re-track more than Mighty Canadian Minebuster does. I find Mighty Canadian Minebuster gives better rides in the cooler weather. That's when you can experience airtime. Going back to riding coasters that were similar to the Texas Cyclone, SixFlagsAstroworld can ride Georgia Cyclone at Six Flags Over Georgia, Viper at Six Flags Great America, or the actual Cyclone at Luna park in New York. These coasters are Cyclone track layouts whereas Wild Beast (1981) at Canada's Wonderland, Grizzly (1982) at Kings Dominion, and Grizzly (1986) at California's Great America are modeled after the Wild Cat that had operated at Coney Island (Ohio) from 1926 to 1964. Also, Mighty Canadian Minebuster (1981) is somewhat modeled after the Shooting Star that had operated at Coney Island (Ohio) from 1937 to 1971. I already did. It didn't feel the same but close enough. At least I got to ride the original Dungeon Drop (Tower of Power SFSTL) -

I heard Rush Street Flyer from Six Flags St Louis (my local park) is already off-site and sent to La Ronde. Anytime someone would post a photo of Rush Street F... My bad. GRAVIATOR at the park so we can see what it is up to. (Just curious about what modifications they make to it) -

No one posted on this topic for a long time. It sure was upsetting to see this park go. I remember when I went to this park. I wasn't tall enough to ride this, but I would alway look up at it and vision myself on it. I never got to ride it R.I.P Texas Cyclone. (If only we could bring back this one ride)
