Question for everyone: What is your favorite rides at SFSTL and what makes it your favorite?

Nice shot. Still no pieces to Fireball. SFNE already haves parts to Fireball

They fixed part of the twist on Batman and Robin and yet, it was removed a few months later. So I think it could be the twister.

I went pass the park today and it looks slightly different without RSF. Mr. Telephone pole says hi!

Not really since, most of Astroworld's rides were scrapped and I don't know about the status of the land that the park once stood on is? I think it's a parking lot for the football stadium. Never got developed. Houston Rodeo now owns half the land that was Astroworld. They use it for storage and parking during the rodeo season. Yep. So sad. They tore down a world-class (I just like to call it that) theme park for a stupid parking lot. Does the normal one like. Overflow or something?

Can anyone give me a COMPLETE list of what happened to all of the Astroworld rides?

I don't know if this will work, but maybe you should try and squeeze in Shlitterbaun, you don't want to miss the world's tallest waterslide!

To be honest, when I first saw Total Mayhem, the first thought that came to my mind was "They can do better than that!" Edit: can anybody spot the ride that is not part of SFGADV? Hint: it's in the background

This Joker theme is much better than Total Mayhem. This makes it the 2nd Batman-related S&S Free Spin.

Btw, I'm planning on going to Six Flags on opening day (March 25th) so if I do, I might post photos.

SFSTL is not that bad of a park. Just needs a few adjustments like: Remove Ninja and add a custom coaster (maybe a Joker themed one (like SFDK and SFGADV)so we can expand HH into the Joker Inc area) Expand Hurricane Harbor Repaint Xcalibur Turn on the torches at the Boss entrance (I just miss that) You can add onto this list if you want.

Is it possible to buy back the land and rebuild most of the rides?

I actually wasn't sure in my last post. Xcalibur is a carnival ride that used to travel.(it REALLY needs a new coat of paint) Not to mention the theming too. I'm betting that Six Flags will reuse this for fireball except with flame decal instead of stripes and a new logo. For those who didn't notice, this was under the ride.

It's a glorified carnival ride! They start construction Monday afternoon, they should be done by dinner later that day. That fast? Wow. It would probably open on April or March

I think you mean Diablo Falls. If so, it was relocated to Six Flags New England as SplashWater Falls I got to ride it during the 2008 season, so another Astroworld ride crossed off the list.

Granted: a tornado comes and destroys your local park delaying the coaster season I wish Cedar Fair is better than Six Flags
