Even though I don't enjoy getting my organs rearranged, I ALWAYS ride The Boss 3 times every trip to Six Flags. And for the Ninja, I always wear my old soccer headgear on it.

Hi. I just saw this and I'd thought I would post. I used to live near Astroworld until the demolition. I moved to St Louis (3 months after Texas Cyclone came down) where I discovered another Six Flags Park that happen to include Dungeon Drop from Astroworld! I know a lot about SFSTL (and a little about Astroworld). I have a small collection of ancient Six Flags souvenirs, and more. I hope (scratch that. It WILL) TPR will be my instant source of upcoming attractions (and donkeys!!! )

The off-season is killing me!

Eh, don't be so sure about that. At least in the Florida parks' case, a loud coaster might be scary to small children. I have to agree. While enthusiasts may love the raw of a classic B&M like Hulk was or Nemesis, I have seen first hand people look at a ride and say "yeah I will ride that". Then the train makes it way down the first drop, the roar begins and they start to question if they want to ride or don't ride at all. I guess some people like it (including me) and some don't. I'm near SFSTL and the roar from Batman gives it a Theme Park feel

The best part about being at a theme park is being able to hear the roar of a roller coaster

Looking at those old Six Flags flyers from the 70's made me wonder: Who the hell are those colorful fur ball monsters!?

Screamin Eagle is a fantastic roller coaster! I hope it stays up for a long time. Now the Boss, I rather have that RMC'd

For everyone who asks: the only way to open the Joker on opening day is a delayed opening of SFGADV.

Six Flags always takes a long time with the new rides. I'm betting that even the Fireballs won't open until Memorial Day.

^I kind of doubt it. They need to build the ride, put up the theming, run some test, and do a media day before the opening.

Or maybe build the archway in between and have the dragons wrap around it, and paint/render them so they look like stone statues (if the colours are too bright for the Harry Potter universe). It is a massive waste. Like I said. It would be cool if IOA kept those dragons.i still like to call Dragon Challenge "Dueling Dragons" because it sounds cooler. Same with the sides, to me, it's still Fire and Ice

I agree. It used to have one of the best entrances for a coaster, now you just walk under a little archway. Archway: Extremely Lame! They could have keep the Dragons by making them look like the ones in the movie Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

American Thunder: I love how smooth it is. It is so smooth that I can keep my hands up the whole time! EDIT: I also like Sky Screamer because of the airtime you get on it.

I liked that part on Dueling Dragons (I'm still calling it that) where your feet almost touched the others on the loop. Wish there was a way Dueling Dragons can start Dueling again.
