I booked our November stay a few days ago. Doing four nights because my credit card does 4th night free. Not sure how much we'll need TimeSaver but they won't suck to have!

We'll be there on Friday night. I'm not into the Halloween stuff but that VR wheelchair business does sound intriguing.

I always feel like these kinds of questions are weird, but I'll ask anyway... Has anyone been on opening day of haunt? How are the crowds? I wanna squeeze in a visit on Sep 23. I'm really just interested in rides, but they are only open for haunt.

Coincidentally, we have plans to visit the park on September 24, so we'll see how it turns out. If anything, I'm hoping for more comfortable restraints. Granted, I don't remember much about the ride experience from my one visit in 2002ish.

Hey great thread! Bookmarking... During our Dollywood trip in April, we really enjoyed Pottery House Cafe, but I'm sure that's been recommended before. Great food and service; plus I like that they text you when your table is ready, so you're free to wander the area. If you're flying in to Knoxville TYS, just a few minutes up the highway is Sweet P's BBQ and Soul House. Awesome BBQ.

We visited a month ago and I got a solo ride on Thunderhead, back row. I found it pretty intense and slightly comical.
