The crowds should be low/normal. You should be able to grab a couple of rides with a line slightly outside of the station. Saturday's will be busy through the end of the month with Music Festivals. There are occasional Friday's through the end of the month that are school days. Sunday's will always be the least busy of the weekend.

Well if you need Sports Bar Wings there is a B-Dubs in Liberty which isn't too far away.

Why? I've never been impressed by Detonator. Fearfall, occasionally impressed. Indiana Beach's model, certainly impressed. But I've always been bored with Detonator. Multiple days, multiple seasons, multiple visits. I've wanted to like it. Sorry. The model atop the Strat's better too. Not earth-shakingly so. But better. Maybe you should head out to Galaxyland in Edmonton and discover how a real Space Shot feels...? Cuz Detonator's not it. Detonator is the most forceful of the Space Shots in the chain.

The only sports bar at the park is Chickies and Petes - they serve Phillies not wings. Beer is served at the BBQ place near train depot. Pretty sure you have to consume it there.

I can't imagine this will be a problem since SF is a pre-existing nuisance. Anyone who buys in a development next door wouldn't have a compelling case to argue that they never expected coaster noise (either in a legal sense, or in a zoning board meeting). I feel like the worst case is our extremely imaginary B&M hyper gets filled with sand to stifle some of the roar. I also have to think that there are upper limits for how big a park should be. Wikipedia puts the used land at SFStL at about 280 acres, and Epcot - a park frequently noted for its size - at 300. Obviously more room is devoted to sprawling rides at a (nominally) coaster focused park like SF, but still, there's only so much walking a guest can be expected to do before getting annoyed with sprawl. By the way, did anyone run the coaster races this past weekend? How was it? Ironically, I missed out on it to run a race in Urbana. The NIMBY crowd came after DP too but that hasn't stopped it there.

Well since I have to make a trip up to the Twin Cities later this summer I'll give this park a chance. Course I won't buy anything since I'll use my platinum pass, platinum dining, and platinum refill cup.

Well that pretty much confirms what we've been saying - Tempesto clone.

Ouimet is big on atmosphere and we are to have street performers in that area this summer. Did you notice the depot and the repurposed "Wet Your Whistle" stand (now a hat shop)?
