  1. 14 and first coaster was Jr. Gemini, First "Big Coaster" was Gemini
  2. Magnum's drop is one of my favorites. Not to mention, I love the slow lift hill, it really lets you appreciate the view from up there.
  3. Well.. I haven't visited many SF parks to be exact... CF Parks: CW, CP, KI, Caro SF Parks: SFGAm I can however comment on the infrastructure of how each company is run. For new additions, Six Flags gives at least every park something, even though it may be a low budget addition, it's still something. As for Cedar Fair, they don't always give a park something because they are spending more money on one park, In years past the major investments have gone like this for Six Flags and CF 2013: CF-Gatekeeper, Cedar Point ~$25mil SF- IRAT, Full Thr*ttle ~$10mil each; $7mil for FT People's majority opinion: FT+ Irat>GK 2014: CF- Banshee, Kings Island ~$24mil SF- Medusa Steel Coaster~ $10mil People's majority opinion: Medusa>Banshee 2015: CF- Fury 325, Carowinds ~$30mil SF- WiCy, TCol ~$10-12mil People's majority opinion: Fury=WiCy, TCol* *It can go either way. So, even though Six Flags spends less, they usually get the better ride.
  4. For anyone who wants to know, Tony said on Periscope that the track will be hollow.
  5. I feel like right about now it's the same height as Sheikra for those of you who want to compare! Please correct if wrong. EDIT: Here's a picture from Tony's Instagram! Source:
  6. Crane is up and ready to go today! We can expect track to go up today
  7. I disagree. The activists are still not going to support SeaWorld as long as there are any ocean animals in tanks at the park. So all SeaWorld is doing is turning away some of their loyal pass members and visitors and the ones who do remain as pass members will undoubtedly visit fewer times than they usually would because this will not measure up to the entertainment they have grown to love. The fewer times their pass members and fans visit the park the less $$$$ they will make. SeaWorld is making huge mistakes all around. They need to start listening to their fans and pass members, HINT, HINT, as I already know some who have dropped over the park getting rid of the mimes. Now they are removing their signature Shamu show? Wow, that's even more stupid. I'm currently still a pass member, unlike some who I know that stopped renewing their passes, but if Seaworld Orlando stops their Shamu show I'm gone and so will be the rest of my family and many friends too. It's time SeaWorld cares about their fans and those who buy season passes rather than the activists who will never become pass members! *** I know this as I can tell you since SeaWorld Orlando got rid of the mimes my family, friends, and I visit far fewer times. I would honestly say we have gone less than half the number of days in the year the mimes have been gone than other years. My family is basically split in half when it comes to going to SeaWorld. My sister, who has watched Blackfish, absolutely hates Sea World, her stance is basically to never go to Sea World again. I on the other hand, love SeaWorld and I love what they do for animals. You make some good points but SeaWorld is looking in to the future. It's what makes sense to them and future generations to come. The world is changing, and so are its opinions on things. SeaWorld, Zoos, and Aquariums need to evolve and that's what they are doing.
  8. For those of you like visuals on what parts are completed and how they size up next to the ride this is for you! (Original Picture from Cedar Point) As of Nov. 17, 2015 this is whats completed (A little more of the breakrun too)
  9. Wow, They've placed 3 Track pieces in one day.. Last week they placed 2 track segments total..
  10. Hey all, I'll be visiting SWSA around Christmas time, anyone know the crowd levels? Will I need a Quick Queue? Thanks in advance.
  11. ^ It really depends on Ohio weather, you never know what's next. Or maybe they already have the schedule laid out and they cant change it.
  12. Wow, can't believe this used to be considered a crazy rumor
  13. I too, do not understand why people go hating on Cedar Point because it gets a new coaster, believe it or not Cedar Point at one time had to wait from 2007-2013 for a new coaster. I once heard someone say that the reason Cedar Point gets so many rides is because they take the small parks' profit and use it for the new ride. I responded that Cedar Point does not need your parks profit, Cedar Point has resorts/hotels, over 3 million guests annually and a water park. Cedar Point is a cash cow, hence why it gets attractions. As others have said, its profitable. Cedar Fair didn't go invest at Carowinds because it didn't give a profit, but because it did. That's how business works.
  14. Maybe! I sure hope it is. I want to see how awesome its going to look. **Edit: TRACK BEING INSTALLED AT THIS VERY MOMENT!! (12:31 EST)** If that isnt track I dont know what is!
  15. They're power-washing Raptor on Cam 1 for anyone interested, Valravn work seems to be picking up too.
  16. Granted, but when you move the mountain it crushed everything at CP, including all the current coasters. The coaster is also a chinese Knock-Off SLC. I wish that I had one-million wishes.
