  1. Does anyone know if they have given a specific date for the second 2016 announcement?
  2. for parks with difficult terrain it could be an opportunity to add larger coasters as less land clearing would be needed from both a vertical and horizontal aspect.
  3. technically indeed. I feel, with the way RMC is excelling in the market, it won't be long until they are manufacturing their own giant steel supports. ( RMC giga ) " The future of coasters! ". ( hopefully! )
  4. Tennessee Tornado, this past sunday. I noticed that they have recently painted a majority of the supports, hope they get around to doing the whole track. ( it was my first "big" coaster, it holds a special place in my soul. )
  5. as it should have, in any poll. " even one that may be rigged " congrat's Fury, you earned it.
  6. but it does say that Vekoma will manufacture the power and control systems. let's hope they don't say F-IT and try to throw in a cobra roll somewhere when RMC isn't looking. j/k.
  7. ^^ oh, somthing on their wikipedia page said that had an agreement with Vekoma to sell their track outside of the U.S., i assumed that meant Vekoma would be building them. "my bad", can't deny the shirts, " i want one! "
  8. i'm pretty sure RMC will not be building Wildfire, they just sold the track.
  9. ^ i did mean Cyclone, "my bad", but i have to disagree with you about Nighthawk. it was non-stop rough from start to finish, alot of folks consider it to be one of the worst Vekoma flyers, "i haven't ridden any others", but i really didn't enjoy this one. "i mean, i guess i enjoyed it for the experience, but when i was there, once was enough." Fury and Intimadator were walk-on's, no need to go back to that ancient torture device.
  10. I could see Hershey's Wildcat or Gwazi being the next RMC'd GCI's i think your on point about Gwazi, i don't think it would still be standing if there wasn't any intent of reuse. "Twisted Tiger 2017" "that would be beautiful." something like that is precisely the direction sea world owned parks need to go, "to get right back on the financial track."
  11. ^ be on alert for those mischievous line cutters, you get alot of them down there. "terrible human beings they are"
  12. pre-lifts aside, i'm interested to see the first GCI ironhorse, consensus is that GCI's age poorly. "i predict this will be the first of many."
  13. if you wanna ride a rough coaster go to Carowinds- Carolina Cobra, Hurler, Nighthawk- take your pick. i doubt an RMC could be "rough", maybe the issue you guy's are talking about could solved by SDC switching OR to poly wheels? Lightning Rod is gonna use them.
  14. i really like the color scheme of The Joker, but the layout doesn't impress me as much as Storm Chaser or Lightning Rod. "even though i greatly believe it will be a fantastic ride, and most likely the park's biggest draw." in my opinion it just doesn't seem to have the pop that the past and known upcoming RMC's possess.
  15. after seeing the announcement of The Joker, Storm Chaser looks much better in my opinion, "but neither one as sweet as Lightning Rod"
  16. good read. it's definitely not the biggest or fastest RMC, but looks like it'll truly pack a punch. "love the barrel roll drop."
  17. any knowledge of what the park is planning for 2016?
  18. ^ that's funny! "it truly shows the intelligence level of alabama fans. haha". i've never really had any hatred for UK though, "i guess it's because UT pretty much owns them."
  19. just an opinion here. "if you have to dope yourself up on med's to ride coasters, you most likely shouldn't be riding them". good lord!
  20. ^ i wouldn't know as i have not had the pleasure of visiting KK yet. but at my home park Dollywood, they have basketballs, footballs, and various other prizes of schools hundred's of miles away. i've never understood why, my best guess is that maybe they just want to appeal to out of state folk, " gotta satisfy that one person looking for a UCLA basketball in pigeon forge" , or maybe they just get'em on the cheap. however, "every theme park should have Tennessee Volunteer merchandise, there can never be enough orange in the world". j/k. "Go Vols"!
  21. just some joking around people, " it's ok to post.
