So according to The Weather Channel, there is an 80% Chance of Thunderstorms for Saturday the 9th. I'm trying to look on the Park's page as well for weather info to see what their radar system is giving them. What are the thoughts? Worth the trip? Or stay home? There's a group of 6 of us that have plans to go, but of the weather is going to be bad and rides closed, we don't want to waste our time. Thanks

Seeing this really bothers me. I used to operate X2 in the summer of 2009. The crew I worked with had the quickest dispatch times and rarely did we have any issues. This was one thing that I truly always avoided happening. We never let people leave the station like this. The restraints are so easily adjusted! There's a button on the back you press in and can open, drop, and reclose the restraint with your free arm so the guest is in a more comfortable, safer restraint. It takes 3 seconds to adjust. I remember we had a newer employee at one point and he left a kids restraint like your friends was left. During the ride, the boy was thrown up and slammed back down into his seat. He had back and neck injuries. We had to have an ambulance come take him out on a stretcher, evacuate the station and ramps into the station. They then investigated the ride. All in all we were closed for about an hour, but the point of me sharing is because i want to share how dangerous this really can be.

Always nice to run across someone who understands and appreciates Green Lantern. There are few coasters left for me out there where I don't really know how the ride will go after being released from the lift, so that ride is always a fun time for me. I agree with you both. I always enjoy GL. I always laugh so hard through the whole thing.

Speaking of which, you got anymore of them construction update pictures of Twisted Colossus? I was definitely hoping that someone had been there in the last couple days or maybe going this weekend who could share some pictures since its been almost 100% completed.

Only really concerned about these on rides. Otherwise, personally, I'm too focused on what im doing that jumping into someone else's business. Even during shows they've never bothered me. Perhaps ride operators just need to be better about the loose objects policy. I used to work X2 and it wasn't ever difficult to find items that people were carrying or asking them to grab a locker.

I don't know how many people will share this opinion, but I honestly feel like RMC is such a fantastic option for the majority. Ghost Rider would be a beast of RMC came in. I agree about the layout, but definitely with some added Rocky Mountain flare. Topper tracker is a nice option, but GR seems just like the perfect candidate for RMC!

I can second this. My dad gets so sick on spinning rides. He came out to visit and I took him to CP. He was able to ride maXair with no issues. It's big enough that you hardly feel the spinning.

I think I may have missed it if anyone posted, but have they hinted on when this thing might be opening? I'll be home visiting in mid May and was going to take my boyfriend for his first time, plus wanted to check TC out.

I personally really loved the best western plus on international in Orlando. Super cheap, clean, and very friendly staff! I will stay here from now on as my last trip I stayed at cabana bay and had an absolutely terrible experience with their staff. I will never return. Even after mynegative survey, I was never called to find out why my ratings were so low, or to find out what made my experience a bad one. Terrible customer service all around. With that being said, again, best western plus on international has been fantastic. They are closer to Universal. But it's only 20 minutes from WDW. Not bad at all!

It's been a couple years since SFMM was my home park, but mid week is always a good bet. People like to make long weekends that will start on a Thursday or end later on a Monday. In my opinion, Wednesday seems like the safest bet.
