Coasters at Night
DorneyKid14 replied to Erik Johnson's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I'll second Steel Force. Riding it after the park closed on ride night changed my opinion a bit. It went from "Steel Forceless" to "Steel Fun" Steel Force is always a must at sunset/night when im at the park as a guest, It also provides for beautiful sunset pictures! -

Riding Millennium Force for ride night is way better than riding Steel Force for DP ride night. -

Steel Force has a pretty good night ride. Being able to look over the whole park and seeing everything lite is pretty sweet. -

A tunnel would of been awesome. Having the midway go over the track to the entrance, kind of like Fury, would of been awesome. It would of been a beautiful photo spot!! -

The dreams to screams? I have not heard or seen anything. Ill check the persons YouTube channel to see if he has anything. And if there is, it probably won't be until summer. -
Yeah, as you can see there is only a little of the overflow lot that is paved. I've heard from someone on Facebook that they plan on moving the front entrance to about where the toll booths are in the next few years. I don't think that is true at all. But the overflow is in need of a pave. As you can see, maybe 2/5th or so of the lot is paved.

Polercoaster coming to Atlantic City?
DorneyKid14 replied to terdferg's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I was just there last spring visiting a college near by and it was quite crowded. And as for the other states getting casinos, Sands in Bethlehem PA has been doing amazing. -

least favorite would have to be either Great Bear or Green Lantern @ SFGA. -
Polercoaster coming to Atlantic City?
DorneyKid14 replied to terdferg's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Saw this over the last few days on facebook. Hopefully it will help the dying Atlantic City. It will be located at Pacific Ave and S Indiana Ave, so right near all the main spots on the boardwalk. I think it will be perfect for the city, especially with its location. -
Carowinds Discussion Thread
DorneyKid14 replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
So Im doing a little researching because im bored. And under B&M on wiki, (yes i know its wiki) i was looking at all their coasters. And for Fury 325 it classifies it as a hypercoaster. So i went and try to fix and it it says this, | ''[[Fury 325]]'' || ''Hyper Coaster'' || [[Carowinds]] || {{flagicon|United States}} United States || 2015 ||{{cite RCDB|coaster_name=Fury 325|location=Carowinds|rcdb_number=12273|accessdate=August 21, 2014}} Any one know why B&M does this? -
Which coasters are the "most fun" to ride?
DorneyKid14 replied to A.J.'s topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Griffon at BGW and Talon at DP. Griffon is a coaster that I could take laps on all day and not get bored. -
Last week when I visited my sister she said they expected to close the doors by 2pm. Saw on twitter today that they hit full capacity by 10am. Can't even imagine what that is like. Traffic must of been hell. Then saw that around 3pm the attendance fell a little so the park opened back up to the public. They were in "Phase A."

Best Park Skyline?
DorneyKid14 replied to coastercoaster5's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Yes, Dorney Park's skyline is quite nice. I was able to get some photos of the park from across the street from the McDonald's parking lot during my first visit back in June. Here's my photo of Dorney Park's skyline: Coming east on 78 right before Hamilton Boulevard exit gives a BEAUTIFUL view of Dorneys skyline.
