Just saw this on Instagram. They literally say the name in the caption.

Don't know if this is a weird fact but... When Dorney went to submit the plans for hydra, they presented three layouts. Two were denied because they went to close to the lake and to the homes, so they went with the current layout.

The three times I've visited the park were twice in may and once in September. My first trip and first time ride was in about sub 40 degree weather during early entry. Second trip in September was probably mid 70s. Last month was about 60-70 degree. Going next week, the 28th with DP, so let's hope it's not as sluggish.

I work in the games department, so why would I have fun with a "ten minute line"

The struggle is real I mean, I hope the games department can handle it.

1) don't care for six flags, plus I'll never go on a ride that as the VR. 2) been to Disney, I don't meet the characters so I don't have to worry about lines 3) would never go to cp memorial day weekend because I'll be working.

That "line" has been like that since I got in at two. And people were actually turning around and leaving because they didn't want to wait in that "line"

Let's hear the excuses for why there is a line at talon.

I'm 99% sure that all CF parks have security at the front gate. I know Dorney started wanding all guest on weekends, unless it has changed to everyday, but I do believe that it was a company wide thing... Unless other parks aren't doing wanding.

I hope the boat made it through the storm safe. But that storm did some heavy damage to the park! Searched #cpblackout on Twitter. It's crazy. Dorney got hit with a bad storm too and closed.

You mean people who win basketballs at games and think they are cool? Because yes, I don't like that either. Pretty sure it's against park policy to bring in a basketball..

Since Dorney was not open today, I took the nice hour long drive to Hershey. Just a few things from my trip: 1) they really need to add some shade in the queue lines. It was hot today and the fans didn't do anything. I can't imagine what it's like to be in Skyrush queue in the middle of July with the sun beating down on you. 2) they also really need to remove the asphalt throughout the park and replace it with concrete. I know it really wouldn't make a difference but it would a little. 3) the operations there were God awful. That's one of the main reasons why I can't like this park. Skyrush was dispatching like every 5 minutes with two trains. Coming from a company that strives for great customer service, ie the Best Day Project, i get the feeling that all the workers hate their job there. Even games associates look like they don't give a crap. If the associates were to be happier and act like they enjoy their job, I would love Hershey. Skyrush was amazing as always. Laf trakk was pretty good as well. I'm convinced that thunder always win vs lightning. The six or seven "races" I saw, Thunder won all of them. Lines were long because there were so many schools at the park, and I don't usually wait over an hour for coasters. Some rides were only running one train, which hurt because the amount of schools were there.

Rain wise, it depends on the storm that is approaching. Like stated above, usually light rain/impending rain will close the ferris wheel. When there is a thunderstorm/heavy rain nearby, all major coaster and other rides close expect the whip and musik express. When there is a thunderstorm, Apollo, monster and all of planet snoopy close. When there are lightning strikes, coaster stay close for every 15 minutes after the last strike (like in sports). And regarding like line, once the switchbacks were open, it went through about 1 of them I believe.
