When I did early entry on Saturday they had the marina gate closed.

A few more photos from my trip this last weekend. These were all taken on my phone, no filters. The last two are personally my favorite. Valravn just pops out no matter where you are. I love it. Beautiful Looking nice and fresh Second best thing you see at the park. Well hello, you must be new here. Don't fall!! Dat lift though The seat wasn't that comfy Air time Is it a bird? Is it a plane? NO its Millennium Force coming to save me! Seriously, so photogenic.

If you are doing an over night trip, do early entry, hit the major rides. leave the park around 11:30-12 right when all schools will be getting there and go to lunch/rest up in your room. Then right around 4:30-5 go back into the park until close, lines will be small and little wait. I did this last year from monday-wednesday and it worked perfect!!!!

Trip Report May 2016 Made the the drive from New Jersey to the roller coaster capital of world. This was my third time out there in a year, my mom and sister first time. My grandmother and her friend made the trip as well because we stopped at the rock and roll hall of fame first. We stayed at Hotel Breakers, which is beautiful. They did an incredible job with the renovations. Pros: Valravn, WOW. Lines were long friday and saturday (once rides opened). Waited about an hour and 15 minutes to ride, and it was worth it. Sat low row, left side, unbelievable. The first drop was incredible, seemed longer than 214 feet. The immelmann loop is freaking awesome. The zero-g roll...... OMG!!!. This is in fact a surprise element like people are saying. And idk about other people, but i did in fact get air time on the air time hill. Oh yeah, the view you get at the top of the lift, breathtaking. The surrounding area is magnificent. The park did a hell of a job with everything. Friday: Got to the park around 12ish. Weather was gorgeous. We first hit up Gatekeeper. Then we spent most of the time after that walking around and checking out shops and other things. Gatekeeper, still my number one. There is just something about it that i love. after dinner, around 8:45, me and my mom made the awesome walk over to Millennium Force. She was scared the whole time we waited, which was only about 25 minutes. Lets just say she liked it. But night rides on this are awesome. We then got a ride on Rougarou, which was a walk on. Then another lap on gatekeeper. By then it was closing time. Saturday: Got up bright and early for early entry, but thank you high winds for having everything close. This happen for about the whole morning, then everything opened up. The only thing we got to ride was Valravn on saturday. Dragster never opened, Raptor was an hour wait. So due to the winds, cold, and rain coming in, we shopped and left Americas Roller Cost at about 4;45. All in all, it was an awesome trip, and im trying to plan to go back out in August, Gatekeeper- 3x Valravn- 1x Millennium Force- 1x More photos to come. Didnt get a good chance to look for the boat Happy bunch of people BABY GOATS Alot of markings out by the mini golf.

Went in for early entry, due to high winds, everything was closed. Also saw some marking on the path over by the mini golf course. But they went up to hotel breakers, so probably nothing.

Sorry for the double post but mini first day report. Only got on a few rides today, gatekeeper (still my number one) Millennium Force and Rougarou. Valravn had an hour and 45 minute wait all day, but the area is beautiful. Planning on getting on Valravn, Raptor, TTD, Maverick, and Magnum tomorrow. Full report and photos coming in a few days.

Stayed there last year, beautiful. Rooms are nice. But who cares about rooms, you'll be at the park.

Oh my way to the park now. I'll let you know if it's open or not. Update, just got to the park 1. Mean Streak is still closed. 2. Hotel breakers is beautiful.

Don't say that^^^ Looking at the webcam, the lot doesn't look to to bad.

I hope the park isn't this crazy next weekend. If the line for Valravn is like that, I will be okay with skipping it.

Let the planning for their next coaster in about 3-4 years begin.

I can't wait to be there next weekend! The ride looks fantastic. Look like you can get an amazing picture of Valravn from anywhere it looks like! there goes my phone storage. The gift shop can can take all my money.

Saw that Cedar Point was trending on Facebook because of Valravn, and the second post had "the" Valravn......

How were the boats? Where there a lot of them out today? Why is everyone talking about the Valravn? Cp is known for their boats.

i hope the today show doesnt read this. i dont want them to get upset. the valravn looks beautiful lit up. as well does the raptor.

the Valravn is testing!! Also looks like they replaced the road. Do. They usually do this after a big coaster? Or maybe just part of the whole bridge having to get done?

Some of those markers are new. Some have been there since last year.

Chance carousel was broke to the point where they couldn't repair it. That why they removed it. To sadness here. Cool to hear that thunderhawk did indeed receive a retracking. I'm heading to the park now to ride before I start work later.
