I would like to see a huge slide tower with a tornado slide, a bowl slide, and a couple regular tube slides. Along with another wave pool. Also a huge water play structure with multiple kid slides, water guns, bridges, and a giant bucket that tips over unloading huge amounts of water to bystanders standing below!

Height doesn't make the ride. TT already has 2 lift hills, so it can be a double lift like TC. IF rmc gets there hands on TT, I bet it would be another great coaster for KK and give them a nice 1 2 3 punch.

A roller coaster uses momentum to carry the train throughout the course. A disko type ride is a powered gondola that just happens to travel on a track.

Yea, I agree there not competing. There both due for new attractions. There the same parent company. I just found his bashing another park and ranting that they should sell it because of there rumored coaster to be funny. How often does the VF parking lot completely fill?

Lol were you dropped on your head? MIA has the highest profit margins in the chain. They literally do nothing to the park and it gets more guest every year and continues to make more profits. Even when they were looking to sell a couple parks in 2008 they didnt put MIA up for sale. Dont be jaded because you dont like the recent additions to VF and you believe VF is due for a coaster. Alot of cedar fair parks are. VF needs a better water park. I bet you anything that is there current focus. .02 p.s MIA hasn't built a new attraction in 2 years, and just some larson flyers before that. With it being there 60th Anniversary this year, I dont think a small coaster is out the question at all.

I read somewhere that they actually redid parts of the retaining wall around the lake. Maybe there going to add more lights or hopefully another sit down restaurant

Hill after rolling hill of airtime goodness. Height doesn't mean anything. Yes the next ride wont be as tall as 1305, doesn't mean it wont be a good ride

Seems like it would be alot easier to just make it sit down trains, instead of floorless.

I fixed that for you Its not rough, its smooth as glass. It just has extremely quick turns, and intense forces. That is what makes it easily one of the best rides around

^ Even though Maverick isn't very tall, its still an expensive complicated ride. It was what, 21 million or so. That's a lot of money on a ride that's hard to advertise.

You would be able to hit everything at MIA including the water park easily, and still be able to leave at 5

^ MIA used to have a Circus, and a live jet ski show on the lake. And in the early 2000's had rock the coast. Id rather see a hyper/hyper gtx before a concert stage

lol. You act like KD is so neglected You act like the park doesn't receive new rides and general improvements every year. The park is getting plenty of attention. KD's time will come (again). Until then just enjoy the park, or maybe enjoy some other parks

The midwest can get extremely hot. 85 and humid in the midwest can seem hotter then 100 in the deserts of Arizona and Nevada. Waterparks are the main draw of most parks with a free waterpark.

First point: Intimidator 305 is (from what I've ridden so far) the best roller coaster out there (and you can click the link in my signature if you want to find out what I've been on). You're entitled to your opinion, however. Second point: I'm not complaining because Kings Dominion won't get a B&M stratacoaster or something like that, it's just concern for the future appeal of the park and its marketability, which can send the park into a downwards spiral of less park income which results in fewer and fewer park investments. You can only market a coaster as "brand-spankin' new" for so long (even if it's an 11/10 no contest), and in today's hypercompetitive amusement industry, six-plus years is too long (especially with BGW directly competing for ticket sales). But cfc, I agree.... Que será, será (which is Spanish for "what will be, will be", and no, I didn't use Google Translate, I used my four years of high-school Spanish ) MIA last major attraction was Thunderhawk in 2008 (used SLC) and there having steady increases in profits and attendances year after year. Cedar Fair is working there magic on KD. There fixing a bunch of little issues around the park instead of splashing down huge amounts of money on a roller coaster. They understand that a huge new coaster isnt needed to attract more guest. More family's will come back to a clean, upkept park. Not a teen filled thrill park with no character or charm. Trust me, KD's time will come (again). Until then, let CF work is magic by creating a better atmosphere around the park.

Nice idea! If they did that though I would want them to make it like Fury325 or Gate Keeper and not like Scream. I have thought many times that chunk of the park could use a coaster. Also I guess Excalibur would work in MiA or WoF line up, but who wants to invest in a 26 year old arrow? MIA has a top ten woodie in ST, and a decent one in Wildcat. Excalibur should be burned to the ground, ripped apart and ran through a wood chipper. Excalibur is a frankenstein Monster that should just die already. Replace it with a nice looper

Dark rides are great and all, but doesn't KD already have boo blasters?

Iv been trying to see if I can find any filed building permits, but I have had no luck. If any other locals want to try as well that would be great. That is how people found out about fury even before they announced it. I am sure if there building a coaster or any ride it has to have been submitted by now?
