Slides to rides

In the past couple of days I noticed a change in Public Relations. I did some further research and saw the PR manager left. Anyone know of the new one? Also have news of Retracking on Timberwolf. According to the park, they are already working on Timberwolf and it's supposed to be open on Opening day as it should.

Just wondering, how extensive is the retracking? Will it be entirely re-tracked so that it runs like new in 2016, or are they just re-doing parts of it? I've heard terrible things about Timberwolf, but if it doesn't shake me to death, I'd love to try it. The original plan was to retrack it in 3 years. The drop and turn around this year, then from there up to the helix next year but here's where I'm having a problem. In 2017 they want to finish the helix and all the way to the brake run. That's a lot more than they would be doing, so I'm really not even sure if a whole retrack is even going to happen. Hopefully but it seems like too much for what they've been doing so far. I say just do what Knotts did with Ghost Rider. Retrack it over the off-season get new Millennium Flyers and call it finished. GCI was too busy to get to the project until May and early June so hopefully we will see it opening day with more track replaced for a smoother ride.

Dang you beat me to it. I was just about to post that on this ever so popular forum. Hopefully we will get a custom layout that would finally replace the Orient Express however I've heard it would go in Americana around Steelhawk. So if the rumors and everything planned in the next few years comes true we can expect, Retrack on Timberwolf, New trains for Timberwolf, New Gate, Dark Ride, and a Premier Launch Coaster. Sounds like a great next few years if everything happens.

I wouldn't say its luxury due to the fact that Hydra was the last true new coaster to go to the park in 2005. Got two relocated coasters and a relocated Demon Drop. I see what you're saying though.

Great to see this happening. I bet they will go to the ADA Compliant trains or the Brown car. If they go with that one, it really wouldn't look different. But that's okay. Hopefully the ride is improved. According to the GM the 360 trains won't work, so don't expect those.

I really hope not. I'd rather see an original concept such as Voyage to the Iron Reef or something like Wonder Mountain. I'd be really disappointed yet another year to see the Plants vs Zombies crap come to WOF. At Coaster Mayhem this year the parks General Manager mentioned a dark ride going back in Bicentennial square or in that general area where Thunderhawk "was" or "is" however you want to put it.
