What is the ride in the upper left hand corner? If anyone could post a picture of a similar ride that would be greaat.

Or Australia/Oceana. If they did, maybe they could move Boomerang there (because it really is more of an australian-themed ride, just look at the sign) and have room for something nice where boomerang was. Adding another "World" wouldn't be good for the park and especially for the people who care about the history.

My prediction is what Kings Island got this year. Flying Scooters and Snoopys space Buggies. Maybe a few smaller rides, but probably not.

No coaster for 2016 but I could see what WOF did for their 40th. I know both parks are one price but they are definitely doing waterpark for 2016.

You're Likely going to get more answers at an event than what you would on the midway. What about behind the scenes? Will you still get more info at Mayhem or directly from the people who would know? I also know it's staying because the park has already purchased a new motor for the ride. And that is NOT cheap. They have also gotten replacement parts from Dorneys Hangtime. Hangtime was removed because of a crack in the gondola. The crypt at kings dominion is having a similar problem. And at knotts they are rebuilding the whole ride. Why are you an "insider"? What have you gotten true insider information on? Until you can tell me I don't consider you a legit source.

Source please? You Don't Have To Believe Me Wait Til Thursday..My Names Not This For Nothing Were you at Coaster mayhem? If not you really shouldn't be talking. They said nothing about the removal of Thunderhawk. Thunderhawk is having one of the least bit of trouble (topspin) wise at any cedar fair park. It's staying. You may have gotten confused because they eventually want to see a dark ride back in that AREA but not replacing Thunderhawk. It would replace some of those unpopular games.

Charlotte is growing at a pretty exceptional rate. Cedar Fair is seeing opportunity there. Kansas City isn't growing near as fast. With the royals doing so well Kansas City has gotten global attention. I honestly don't ever here anything about Charlotte. I know Charlotte has a bigger population but I believe Kansas City is growing more.

That's good, but it took long enough, I went about a week and a half ago and the Zulu was down then too. Where do you work in the park? Maintenance, operations, financial department, WHERE? I want to know if you have any insight if there's about to be something new and mechanical that will require maintenance or if they will soon be hiring for operations of a new ride or if they are about to make a big investment. And what age do they start hiring? When I went there was an employee I think working at a game and he looked REALLY young, like MY age of fourteen! I do not work at the park however I visit the park many times in the season. I've been twice this week. I know they hire for ride maintenance at 18, if there is an opening. I know the Maintenace team and I usually can get a pretty solid answer of what the problem is. You can work for games at 14 but I've never thought of doing that. Good news about Zulu. Today it was testing and a supervisor told me it is likely to be up today.

The parking lot has always been where it is. When you arrived at the park you would take the tram to the main enterance. The Tram vehicle is used to haul trash around now. I've spotted it many times.

I should get an answer by tomorrow. I bet Wof will get a flat ride package for 2016, new Gate, and a Planet Snoopy Upgrade. I've also heard the skyliner may be moved. Could we except LED lights on it? I'm not sure how I feel about it moving (because it provides great views of patriot) but the attendance for Skyliner is so low. It would do much better in Planet Snoopy. None of this is confirmed quite yet but I will likely be the first to confirm it.

I'm going to Coaster Mayhem. Who else? I've also been informed by the Wof maintenance Director that Zulu could be in its last year or two. I wouldn't be too upset to see it go. The hydraulic lift has failed and they can't get parts. On the other hand Finnish Fling recieved a new hydraulic motor to "retrofit" the ride. I hope Finnish fling will live on another 20 years at least and I really don't think we will see the ride leave anytime soon. Just looks like Zulu. I've asked about 2016 and when we can except an announcement. I'll make sure to keep posted.

I was just about to comment about everything that I saw today. I saw everything as well. I had a Timberwolf marathon today. I only got 13 straight rides in but it was good for a kinda busy day at Wof. I ended up loosing my pass for the first time in history. I think the employee working at coasters never gave me my card back after she scanned it. I went back and it wasn't there. Oh well, just have to replace it.

The park will be busy but the water park will be much more busy. So I'd recommend riding all the coasters first then hit the flats.

It is hard to say. Michigan's Adventure hasn't gotten a "new" coaster since the late '90s so its hard to say if they are even eligible for a new coaster. IMO the best fit for this park would be a Chance Hyper GT-X like Lighting Run. Valley Fair is always being talked about. VF fans get so bored they report new Oreo stands on the forums. Who cares! Valley Fair needs a coaster the most. Its been 9 years since their last coaster. That's longer than both other parks. I would love to see an invert to this park. I don't think a huge invert like Banshee, but a fairly sized invert like Great Bear, Patriot or Talon. WOF hasn't gotten a new coaster since '09 (Prowler) so they are still good. They could use a new coaster but it isn't as needed as it is at other parks. WOF is definitely eligible for a huge new coaster. I think the best fit would be a floorless coaster similar to Hydra or a Wingcoaster similar to Wild Eagle or X-flight. The coaster could go where the Orient Express used to be or out infront using some of that open land. WOF has a lot of open land.

Does anyone else besides me wonder why Dorney is the relocation capital of the Cedar Fair chain? Dorney's last "new" coaster was Hydra in 2005. 3/3 of their last major rides (since Hydra) have been relocated. I like Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom but its going down road. Hangtime is gone, Stinger is never open, they haven't received a brand new flat ride in ages. Time to step it up Dorney. But Wildwater Kingdom looks good. Their new slide complex (clone of the original at Oceans of Fun and new for this year Hurricane Heights at Kings Dominion) looks really good at Wildwater Kingdom.

I want to say Dorney, but not for sure.
