Is Skyhawk running? I thought someone had posted some pages earlier that it was closed and had a large crane next to it but I haven't read anything since then. I'll be there in a week and a half and am looking forward to riding it again. -

During all of the ERT, the lines weren't bad at all. For night ERT we did 6 laps on Maverick and 7 on Mille within the 1:30 or two hours. That's pretty awesome. Morning ERT we got on everything we wanted to multiple times just by wandering around. CP does a really good job of making sure that your day is FULL of coasters. You won't be disappointed. Thanks for the info! I already registered for it anyway. It's just a matter of whether or not I feel I can get up that early after my already full week of Holiday World, King's Island, and Cedar Point. Definitely sounds like it's worth it if I'm feeling up to it. -

For those that have been to Coastermania before, how long are the waits? I thought I saw some pages back that MF has a 10-15 minute wait. I'll be at CP for a few days before and was planning to drive to Buffalo on Friday, but maybe I'll stick around for the morning of Coastermania if I'm not too exhausted. -

I highly suggest that anyone visiting the park ride Voyage BEFORE riding Thunderbird. It's just awesome peaking the second hill and see that huge, beautiful B&M track sprawling out through the woods. You'll be in awe and it builds the anticipation even more. Also, during a ride on The Voyage we went under a Thunderbird train perfectly as it was coming out of the vertical loop. Just awesome. Thanks for the tip. I've been waiting years to ride The Voyage and I can't wait for Holiwood Nights to finally make my first trip to Holiday World. I've been wondering what I should do first when I get there, but this sounds like good advice. -

I've ridden Bat and Bombora alone, although neither was in the front. I seem to recall a "no single riders" sign in the front row of Bat. Doesn't Puff have a 54" limit if you aren't riding with a child? -

I've been interested in following this since it was announced. I thought it would be fun to visit Carowinds for my first time ever this year but I thought it probably wouldn't happen because I'm doing trips to SFMM and Holiday World/Cedar Point this summer. But seeing the videos of this testing are making me really want to get to Charlotte somehow this summer. -

Lots of very helpful information in this thread, thanks everybody! Does King's Island have any single rider lines? -
I've never found Scream or Riddler's to be very rough. The only problem I've had with Riddler's is the pressure on my lower legs, but after figuring out how to ride it, that isn't as bad. I think they're both a lot of fun and rode each of them multiple times last fall when I took a trip there. But this debate will go on and on... Just like the parking lot under Scream.

Thanks! I'm surprised FoF is still that popular. What about Banshee? Is there a time of day that's better? -

How busy is King's Island usually on Sundays? I'm planning a trip for HoliWood Nights and want to hit King's Island and Cedar Point as well and I'm trying to plan out dates. I'm thinking of going May 31. I could go the Wednesday or Thursday before instead, but it would mean some backtracking so I'd rather not do that unless Sunday would be painfully busy. I've been to King's Island once, but it was in 2002 or something. Any tips? -

That just looks so wrong. Love it! That's what I've thought about every element of this ride so far. It's going to be fun! -

I'm planning my first trip out to Holiday World this year and was thinking HoliWood Nights would be a great time to come. Does that event get pretty crowded? Does it ever sell out? -

I think about this every time a poler coaster idea is talked about, and I really want it to happen at Cedar Point just because of this fact. -

Diving Coaster at Happy Valley in Shanghai is 213 feet, so it's 5 feet taller. Mr. Freeze also technically is taller at 218 feet, but it's not a full circuit. I also don't know how high the train actually goes on that one. -

When they had a press day for Cannibal, they said it will open with the park on March 28. I guess we'll see if it actually happens. Can't wait! -

There are a lot of locals excited about Cannibal, we just don't post on here much. Lagoon hasn't really done much promoting for it though. At least not yet. As for the construction, they've been doing a lot of work in the tower and along the ground. A few supports and pieces of track have just started going up the last week or two. It looks like that might pick up quite a bit soon, as I heard there's now a smaller crane on site. -
Since Lagoon is my home park, I'll be most anticipating Cannibal. Will almost definitely get out to SFMM to ride Twisted Colossus as well. Thunderbird and Rougarou are a long shot for me, but I might be making a trip out that way next summer. I'd also really like to ride Fury 325 and Wicked Cyclone, but it'll probably be a couple years before that.

I've heard this complaint more than once also, and I don't really get it. Have you driven down I-15 since they started stacking the towers? Sure, it blocks a portion of Skyscraper from some angles, but there's plenty of the drive past it that you can see the whole thing. I also like how it looks with the ferris wheel behind it, but maybe that's just me. I'm also going to reserve judgement until the whole thing is built. Maybe it won't just be a big brown tower, but actually have some cool theming (I'd bet on the latter). It would be cool if they could have put it somewhere else where it would have its own part of the skyline though, but I'm not really sure where they could have done that without tearing out a bunch of stuff. -

Isn't this the case just about everywhere though? Maybe not because I don't get around as much as I used to or would like to, but it seems to be more and more common lately. Especially prices at anything for entertainment - theme parks, sporting events, concerts, etc. I can't speak to anything else you've said because the last time I was at Cedar Point was a couple weeks after Maverick opened.
