I went through the entire thread....I cannot believe nobody has mentioned my favorite (however, somebody did say David Gilmour). I have seen Pink Floyd 4 times (as well as Roger Waters twice). All of these have been religious experiences for me. I give honorable mentions to Yes, and Emerson Lake and Palmer. If you look at my age, that should explain things. I just cannot groove with modern music.

It was fun to read this entire thread, and see how things have changed over the years. Here is mine: Favorite steel: Medusa at SFDK...I have never enjoyed a first drop into a loop more in my life. There are more extreme, I know. For example, I love X2 SFMM, YOLOcoaster SFMM, Superman UF SFDK, and Tatsu SFMM for example. But I just have a permanent smile on my face with every ride on Medusa. Favorite Woodie: Gold Striker at CGA....nothing comes close, but an honorable mention to Apocalypse SFMM. Worst Steel: Vortex at CGA, with a dishonorable mention to Viper SFMM. Many have mentioned Kong SFDK. For me, this is a ride that depends on where you sit. I really enjoyed Kong while riding first car. Anywhere else, it sucked. Worst Woodie: Ghostrider at KBF, with a dishonorable mention to Psyclone SFMM, even though it is gone. Both of these were so good in past days, and they both went to crap. Great coaster turned into a bad coaster: Revolution at SFMM. What a great ride ruined by the OTSR. Best non extreme, just fun coaster: Undertow SCBB...this ride is just plain fun. I just wish they really let these cars spin more. Biggest waste of space: Pony Express....If only we had a ride with a seat like this that was bigger, and more fun. Imagine, cars like a motorcycle, going through an extreme moto-cross track. Most underrated coaster: California Screaming DCA. Long, airtime, launch....and does not shoot it's wad right away. I really like how the loop is later in the ride, instead of right away. Just fun, fun, fun.

I would love to see them add a frisbee ride. This park is lame in the flat ride department.

Worst B&M: Vortex (CGA). My legs had bruises! Still had fun though. Worst Intamin: Thighcrush, I mean Skyrush (HP) This ride was not fun. I could not get off of it fast enough. I know this is probably not a popular opinion. Worst GCI: Tie between Wildcat (HP) and Roar (SFDK). I lost fillings on both of these rides.

My first post here...read this entire thread, and I was going to say Skyrush the whole time. Did not see anybody else say this ride, until this last page. I agree. I totally get why many call Skyrush "thigh-crush". I was in pain the whole time, and for quite a bit of time after getting off. I have never had this experience on any other coaster. Granted, my count is only 88, but this one is dead last. Love the extreme nature of the ride...hate the pain you have to endure. Right up there with a kick to the nads. Oh, hi, I hope to have fun here. My home area is Southern Cal, and I am thinking about going to the Knotts event. Looks like you all have a ton of fun here.
