Perhaps the markings are for both a new ride, and for new infrastructure to connect the park to the solar field they're constructing. Only time will tell, and I for one am excited.

Well no one remembers that Bizarro is actually in the park, so naturally they forget about the sign too.

Anyone know whats going on with Zumanjaro? It was closed both visits I've made this year, and a lot of reports have mentioned it being down. Hope it isn't anything serious.

I admit, I misspoke. I wasn't implying screamscape was making up the rumour of the launched wing coaster. I shouldn't have said he makes stuff up, rather that he probably receives some information that is made up.

It's absolutely beautiful. Now my friends and I can hash out concrete plans to get up here and ride this majestic looking ride.

^ How can we talk about a POV if it hasn't been released? And yes, it's still slated to be released tomorrow, along with the ride's opening date.

I wouldn't mind if it were another B&M. I just want something new because as good as GAdv's collection is (and it is outstanding), I find myself getting bored now when I visit the park. It's time for something new to shake things up.

I hope to get out to Adventureland this summer with my 6 year old cousin. If this addition is anything like Sierra Sidewinder, the park has a winner on its hands.

^ 1. As I said, work wouldn't begin this early for another type of ride. 2. They were originally slated to recieve a coaster this year before Zumanjaro turned into a mess. 3. Why are they focusing on Old Country all of a sudden when they were content with letting it rot for 7 years? 4. Walking through Old Country and seeing the markings spray-painted on the ground, which really ties back in to point number 1.

^ Don't hold your breath. I agree the park looks awful, but they've consistently proven they aren't going to do anything about it, so I don't let it get to me any more. There are massive potholes in the Boardwalk, some of the midways flood in the rain, the parking lot is like the surface of the moon, but hey, they painted the water tower! Besides, it's already obvious they're adding a coaster next year. Work wouldn't begin this early for anything else.

I was there. The ERT was for Bizarro and El Toro.

Jaw-droppingly gorgeous. I still can't believe this animal is within a 3 hour drive for me.

I've stopped on the lift on Green Lantern and Bizarro at Great Adventure, and I valleyed on Apocalypse at Magic Mountain.

The Geico ad was there around 2006-7. The rust came once the gecko left. On another note, the park is definitely gearing up for a coaster. I just hope it's something custom.

^ That was my course of thinking too. It'd certainly be appropriate to keep Plaza del Carnaval open for the Cinco celebration, but knowing the park, they'll probably offer ERT for Blackbeard or something else lame. But michaellynn is right, might as well just print the voucher out to play it safe.

Does anyone know what rides are going to be open Sunday night for the Cinco de Mayo ERT? I'm definitely going to the park on Sunday, just debating whether or not printing out this voucher and getting the wristband is worth it.

Hopefully I can get back out West in the near future. I have unfinished business on the Mountain, and TC looks like a gem.

Definitely don't visit on July 4th if you want to avoid crowds. The 4th of July celebrations at Coney Island, especially the Nathan's Hot Dog eating contest are a huge draw.

It's beautiful! Now all we need is a POV and an opening date. I can't wait to get up there to try and tame this beast.
