They had Not Your Father's Root Beer on tap during Holiday in the Park, at the stand near B:TR. Never thought I'd see that in an amusement park.

Looks gorgeous. Glad Six Flags is spreading the money around so the parks can renovate their rides.

^ Macho Nacho is the first bar. It opened last year and is located in Plaza Del Carnaval, near El Toro.

^ If they indeed hit 3 million, that'd make them the highest attended park in the chain. That's certainly impressive when considering the chain has two parks that operate year-round. Good for them.

Speak for yourself. Blackbeard is a lot of fun and it's nice to see the park actually give their rides some TLC. Never. Blackbeard forever!

Forget Joker, I'm more excited for that brand new coat of paint on Blackbeard.

^Agreed. Like I said, the coaster layout on the plans and the Chance layout that KingRCT found do certainly add up, but I can't imagine that Standard jumped the gun on this when the plans are still pending a vote.

^^ I read your post as well, but although the evidence adds up, you didn't "prove" anything. This plan still has to be approved. The Chance under construction could be going anywhere.

^ The park already has a Wild Mouse, which right now is the best coaster in the park. A Eurofighter or Mega-Lite could fit on the grounds, and would be welcome with open arms.

El Diablo is a whole lot of fun for what it is. I hated the addition and certainly railed against the park for calling it a coaster. But after riding it, I shut my mouth. It serves a dual purpose: another much needed flat in the park, and something to do for the little thrill seekers who are either too small or too leery to ride the big stuff.

Looks incredible. I really enjoyed SeaWorld when I visited last November; glad there's a reason for me to return the next time I'm back in Orlando.

Wow this would be amazing. But I'm also taking it with a few grains of salt, so we'll see.

Great pic. Only 10 more days! Already have my extreme wristband from groupon and am just counting down the hours until I'm strapped in to the back row of Cyclone. It's going to be so, so satisfying.

Only been on Wicked Cyclone, which is incredible. Hopefully getting to Texas this spring and Kentucky this summer, so hopefully I can add NTG and Storm Chaser to the mix.

It's already begun. Saw some airhead on my twitter who probably didn't bother reading SeaWorld's press release calling them "pure evil" for allowing the whale to get sick. Nevermind the fact that this whale would already be dead if it were in the wild.

I usually do my Dorney trip in May to get it out of the way. Maybe this year I'll hold out til Haunt (or just go twice)

Perhaps this year I'll make the trip. I avoid GAdv like the plague during Fright Fest. If this is a better atmosphere with the famous Dorney lines it sounds like I've been missing out.

I've never been to Dorney's Haunt, but I've gotten the impression from people who have that it's better than Fright Fest at GAdv.

And where did you hear that? If that's true it's total BS. They knew the park was opening in March (I mean, they made the schedule) If they truly have to close on days they're scheduled to be open, they have no one to blame but themselves. But then again, there's still two weeks to go and they're having a job fair this Sunday. I'm not going to worry yet.

Soft opening? Lame. Good thing I'm going that Friday. I need a full complement of rides to snap out of the offseason funk.
