  1. Here is more info on the ride. http://www.amusementrides.de/ridehtml/coast_coolandfresh.html http://www.amusementrides.de/videoclips.html
  2. ^ No, most likely the line will be around 45 mins when you get off Tatsu.
  3. July tends to be busy, but its not that bad. All rides should be running. Waits can be from walk ons to 45 min waits, depending on the day you go and the time of the day. Mon-Thrus are the best days to go to the park. In the morning, Ghostrider, Sierra Sidewinder and Silver Bullet all have long waits. But rides like Xcelerator, Montazoomas Revenge, Boomerang, and Jaguar all have walk on waits. And toward the middle of the day the lines pick up at Boomerang and Xcelerator, while Sliver Bullet and Montazoomas Revenge have little to no wait. Ghostrider and Sierra Sidewinder have lines that usually do not die down. Also If you wish to ride Perilous Plunge, ride it in the morning, as the ride gets very long waits during the day. I hope I answered your questions.
  4. The three best are 1. X 2. Tatsu 3. Deja Vu Four worst are 1. Revolution 2. Colossus 3. Superman (Boring, not worth more than a 15min wait) 4. Viper (depending on your hight, If you are short, the ride is rough) Flash passes are $15 for 4 or 5 rides, I cant remember. Get to the park 30mins before opening, and RUN to X. When you ride X, make sure that your restraint is as tight as possible. After X go to the back of the park, save Tatsu for later in the day. Have fun!
  5. Its over, Parks America backs out! http://www.kansascity.com/business/story/305730.html

  7. Part 2 of 2 Crazy Coaster Thank you for reading this Photo TR, and thank you for those that have commented! --Ryan
  8. ^ I was amazed too. I am waiting for fried water. Part 1 of 2 I happened to be in the Pomona area today, and yesterday was the last day of the Fair. So I went to see if I could go and get a few photos of the deconstruction of the rides. And to my surprise they were letting people in and still selling stuff but at 15-50% off. Also I was able to get some nice photos of the deconstruction of the carnival. Enjoy! Mega Drop Before After Ferris Wheel Before After 15mins later Speed Before After The Experience Before After Tango Bumper Cars Zero G (aka Roundup) Hi Miler Evolution Before After 20 mins later La Grande Wheel Grand Wheel Before After 30mins later G Force Before After Next is Crazy Coaster!
  9. Is this "normal" for this Top Spin to do this?
  10. I would skip Asylum, it is by far the grossest maze I have ever gone through. If you want to get on rides, I suggest you go during the day, Lines at haunt can get ridiculous. I have seen Xcelerator have a 3 hour wait, GhostRider 2 hour wait, and the log ride 1 and half hour wait. When you go to the haunt, go for the mazes, not rides. If you want to ride rides, go during the day, lines will be walk ons. Have fun!! And as kraxleRIDAH said, there is not a mild maze in the park.
  11. At Knotts Berry Farm in the station of Xcelerator. Mother and daughter ask the attendant "Dose this ride go upside down?" Walking down the path right next to Boomerang, towards Xcelerator. Woman comes up next to me and asks "Where is Xcelerators entrance?". And right in front of her and I is a 50ft sign that says "Xcelerator entrance".
  12. The only carnie that told me that I could not have my camera out was at the Experience. I have a double wrist strap on my A530 camera, so no mater what its not going any were. Thanks for the comments!
  13. ^ Thanks for the comment. No, I didn't see a free photo booth, the only thing that was free was Sparkletts Water and food samples. Other than that I don't believe free was such a word at the fair.
  14. I feel that RCS might quit doing the LA county fair. Every year there is fewer and fewer rides. Thanks for the comment! For the day time shots I used a Canon Power Shot A530 and for the night I used a Canon S3IS.
  15. Thanks for the comments. ^This was my first time using low shutter speeds and a tripod at night to get the motion pictures. I am glad you liked them. That is also part of the reason there is so many photos. I wanted to see how people liked them.
  16. Yes, according to http://www.coaster-count.com
  17. ^^^I agree, a Busch quality park in CA would be awesome! Still disappointed that Magic Mountain was not sold to Busch when it was up for sale.
  18. Part 11 Thank You for reading my TR --Ryan
  19. Part 9 Yesterday was the Harvest Moon.
  20. Part 7 I returned to the Fair later that night with my tripod to take some night photos. Enjoy!
  21. Part 6 After a great ride on Experience, I was heading out when I found another credit! Number 99!! . After a ride on Little Dipper I made my out at 3, with plans to return at 8 to get night photos!
  22. Part 5 What wont they frie? After taking a little break from the action of the carnival rides I made my way to G Force. G Force was fun and a hell of alot better than the one at Knotts. POV More Photos of G force will come in my night photos! After a Fun ride on G force I made my way over to my second favorite ride at the fair, The Experience. This ride is a combination of rides all into one package. First it starts out as a weak scrambler. Then it turns into a scrambler on steroids. When the arms lift up it turns into a weak Remix II. And when the seats start flipping it turns into a much more comfortable Tango! Its an awesome ride!
