  1. That guy was me. ( I was using the water fountain as a improvised tripod to get a shot of Ninja. SFMM doesn't allow tripods of any kind in their park). I wasn't pissed. Just tired and on the verge of dehydration. I didn't even noticed water had hit me. I had a great day. Little to no lines. Towards the last 2hrs of Park Operation I was able to marathon X2 (got 4 ride in without having to leave the station platform.
  2. Has any one been to Pass Holder Appreciation Day? Is it worth going?
  3. The OTSR are going to be exactly like the ones in this video.
  4. I think Fox is trying to make up for the mistake. They are currently at the additions for the Halloween Horror Nights interviewing the talent that will be part of The Rockey Horror Picture Show.
  5. Fox11 just reported that nobody died on the ride. A woman just fainted. JPR is back up and running.
  6. ^^^Calico Saloon and Fiesta Village BBQ (I think thats what its called) and like the poster above me said, you can not take your drinks out of the designated area.
  7. Its not a "maybe". Its a "not going to happen".
  8. http://www.palaceentertainment.com/pages/news.html A special thanks to Yeti762 for posting this footage.
  9. ^^^ I second that. I rode it in April about 2 weeks after it came out of rehab and it was amazingly smooth. They did more than that, they completely re tracked the first drop, and one of the lateral bunny hops after the MCBR drop. I last rode Ghostrider about 3 weeks ago, it was a little rougher than normal but nothing terrible. Also if you want a smooth ride sit in the front row of every car, that way your back isn't directly under a wheel.
  10. ^^ Just watch this video, you will see the huge difference.
  11. You get wet, but most of your lower body stays dry. But nowhere near as wet as you use to get when the ride had the old boats.
  12. You will need the following buses to get you to and From the train stations to the parks. Knotts (Oceanside metro link line) (Buena Park Metro Link Station) #29 bus Disney (Oceanside metro link line) (Anaheim Metro Link Station) #430 bus ( Saturday only) Six Flags (Antelope Valley Metro link line) (New Hall Metrolink Station. Then take the #14 or 4 bus to Mcbean Transfer Station. Bus #3 from Mcbean Transfer Station to SFMM) And if you rent a Gold Flash Pass you will have no problem getting the park done) Taxi to the train station at the end of the day or take a bus to the transit center to get on another bus to Santa Clarita or Newhall Metro link train stations. To Disneyland and Knotts http://www.octa.net/schedules_maps.aspx Six Flags http://www.santa-clarita.com/cityhall/admin/transit/routes&schedules.asp

  14. Silver Bullet This is Cedar Fair, so red and yellow could be for a space themed roller coaster.
  15. Not going to happen. Knotts uses that parking lot for the people that come to the shopping district. Heres what I would do. Use the KOD building for the station and have the lift in the park and most of the ride in backstage and parking lots.
  16. I bet the record-breaking part of this ride will be the tallest fastest coaster in two states.
  17. ^^ They may get a bump in attendance from out-of-towners, but isn't Knotts main crowd locals? It just seems like all those other attractions at the other parks will draw away local guests that will spend a day at Universal, Disney, or SFMM rather than Knotts to do the new attractions.
  18. I don't think so. World of Color 2010, what ever SFMM is adding in 2010 and 2011, Transformers: The Ride in 2011, Little Mermaid 2011, Star Tours 2 2011, Cars Land 2012, and the completion of DCA makeover 2012. With that kind of competition, I don't think Knotts is going to add more kiddie rides.
