  1. Where are you coming from? A tour bus may not be your only option.
  2. I believe that was an April Fools joke. He still works for Disney Imagineering, unless something has changed.
  3. ^Dude, chill out for a second. They are only 8-10 years old and probably camera shy.
  4. I have the track packager on my Mac. Downloaded just fine. Great recreation! Are you going to update it to include the queue line and other scenery.
  5. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5JIkDsshzao Unreal! WOW.
  6. ^One of the big reasons why Maliboomer isn't popular at DCA is its high height restriction. A 52inch height restriction in a resort where most of the attractions have no height restriction or a very low height restriction is going to cause problems with family's with young children. And family's with young children is Disneys bread and butter. If Supreme Scream is a success at Knotts I'm positive Maliboomer will be too at SFMM.
  7. Mega Mountain (Elitch Gardens) was the fictional name of the park used in the movie 3 Ninjas: High Noon at Mega Mountain. IMO a cinematic masterpiece!
  8. Good to see it getting a renovation. My mother use to take me there all the time when I was a little kid so I could ride the train.
  9. ^Its the other way around. It Had To Be You was originally sung by Frank Sinatra. X2 uses the Harry Connick Jr cover of that song.
  10. http://www.peopleofthepark.com/ This is just too awesome of a website.
  11. ^No those escalators separate the lower lot of the park from the upper lot.
  12. Great event! Racing Colossus was by far the highlight of the event.
  13. Racing Colossus was awesome! The racing aspect of the ride made it 100x better. And If they started doing that on a regular basis, Colossus would go from a ride that I would skip almost every visit to a must ride. Much rather have a Racing Colossus than a backwards Colossus.
  14. Superman will most likely be getting a paint job. Tim didn't pick the Loony Toons Super Store colors. Ninja is staying in the park and the problem that BGE had with Big Bad Wolf has been solved for Ninja. (they didn't elaborate on what the Issue may have been with BBW) Single Rider lines are being planned. Revolution, Scream, and Colossus are next in line to get a paint job. Superman runs at around 85-88mph. Flat Rides are in the future plans for the park
  15. ^ WestCot was suppose to go where DCA is today. And the Toy Story lot is only a temporary lot unit the new Parking structure is built on Disney Way.
  16. ^ No, they are using 20 rented city buses to transport guest from Toy story lot to the Resort. Those doors are idiot proofing.
  17. ^ Its basically a souped up Fantasyland dark ride. Each car has a motor and that motor gets its power from a electrified bar underneath the track.
  18. Yes, the entrance to the tram area is on the upper lot.
  19. ^ Mummy, Jurassic Park, and Back Draft all close 1 hour before park closing.
  20. It was only a 4.4 earthquake, not strong at all. So I HIGHLY doubt there was any damage.
  21. You can do it without the front of the line pass. But you may have to choose which show is more important to you Terminator or Waterworld because I don't think you will be able to see both show and do the tram tour in less than 4 hours even with front of the line pass. I went there this past Saturday and was able to do Jurassic Park twice, Mummy four times, and Simpson once in less than an 2 hours. And from my experience it is very rare for any of the shows to be crowded enough where you have to wait for another showing. Just make sure you go strait to the back-lot tour as soon as you can. It usually closes 2 hours ahead of scheduled park closing.
  22. ^^^ Get to the park at least 1 hour before park opening and RUN to X2 first. Then get on Tatsu, Deja Vu and Terminator as quick as you can before the line get too long.
