  1. I had Five Guys for the first time yesterday, it was good but not great. I really liked their Cajun Fries! I might just go there to get just fries. Overall I think Fatburger has the best burgers. I just wish it wasn't so expensive.
  2. Space Mountain, Disneyland- yesterday.
  3. If Screamscape is right, I'm SOOOOOO glad I didn't get a Season Pass for next year. Just more money to put towards renewing my Disneyland AP.
  4. A great website showcasing Apples AMAZING Maps. http://theamazingios6maps.tumblr.com/ What a pile of crap this app is. If Jobs were still alive, heads would be rolling and people would be sent to the unemployment lines.
  5. I knew that Apples Maps was a downgrade but wow.
  6. Great to hear SFMM running one train on one of their premier rides during one of the busiest days of the year!
  7. Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy- Disneyland, today.
  8. I really hope google comes out with a maps app for IOS6. Apples maps app is a huge step back from what they currently have on iPhones. No street view and transit/walking info is a big fail in my book. But since it took over 3 months for the A5 chip and IOS 5 to be jailbroken, looks like I will be sticking with my 4S and IOS 5.1.1 for a while. Hopefully by the time a jailbreak is ready, google will have released its own maps app or someone will have figured out how to bring the old app to the new IOS.
  9. The former Maliboomer spot is a pretty big dead spot in the park that could certainly use a dark ride of some sort. Also, those shops along that stretch of Paradise Pier still need to be updated to match the Toy Story Mania area. Paradise Pier still lacks a highly immersive "E" ticket ride, Hollywood land already has one in Tower of Terror.
  10. Sea World San Diego Has one just an hour or two south...and considering Knott's hasn't worked with Mack on any big project like this, it seems highly unlikely. Um, Sierra Sidewinder.
  11. Revenge of The Mummy- Universal Studios Hollywood, yesterday.
  12. A classic post by wes: We are only in part 2 of the life cycle. LOL.
  13. Its Six Flags, so 1-train. LOL! Kidding aside, I think the ride will have the capability to run 3 trains.
  14. Viper goes 70mph has 7 inversions and X2 goes 76mph and has 2 inversion.
  15. Glad I kept my expectations low. Looks like a fun ride, but I just don't see this ride being the ride that changes the "run to X2/Tatsu first" mentality of the GP.
  16. Quoted because I love this idea. I like this idea as well. If they wanted to do it, they could add It to the plot of land that once was the Peanuts Playhouse.
  17. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad- Disneyland, today.
  18. Yeah, stair side of X2 is MUCH smoother than ramp side. Ramp side has this really violent "clocking" on the last half twist into the brake run. I've gotten some rides where if felt like someone took a baseball bat and hit me in the back of the head. Also I find if you ride first thing in the morning, the ride is really smooth compared to later in the day when the trains have had a chance to loosen up.
  19. Just be careful that you don't let the racers fastpasses sell out, that can happen on the weekends. Fastpasses are sold out by 9:30am every day for Radiator Springs Racers.
  20. I last rode Indy 2 weeks ago and the rolling boulder was not working 100%. The last time I saw the boulder working 100% was in June and I go to the park 2-4 times a month.
  21. ^^If you mirror Leviathan layout it fits into Knotts.
  22. ^They usually come down in price towards the end of the year and go back up in price as the summer approaches.
