to get a little off topic, but it does have to deal with the state of NJ. I was at action park today, and they are having delays with the state to get "zero g" open. they have tested it, its ready to go. they had some riders on it per employees. and today, they had some as they were filming for commercial. my fat ass got filmed on the cliff jump. see if they use it for a commercial.

I know the answer to this one, so I will answer. New Jersey has a law banning the T-bars, so they can't use them on Kingda Ka. El Toro doesn't have the either. This just seems like a weird law. By the way, those videos of Kingda Ka and Zumanjaro running together makes me want to get out there as soon as it opens - the structure will probably shake a lot while the gondolas are waiting to drop. Also, the gondolas appear to be going faster than Kingda Ka when they fall! It's probably just due to deceleration of speed on Ka, though (Hasn't reached top speed on the descent until later) that's because NJ is a nanny state. they ban everything

so sick of hearing about the dangers of this place and deaths. last I checked, SFGAdv has had more deaths then action park. I wonder when they do media day for zumanjaro, are they all going to talk about the lady who was killed on lighnin loops or the 8 teens dieing in the haunted castle fire, I doubt it. action park was a great and fun place. end of story.

So you would rather have prices increase at SFGAdv after rounds of litigation because the park makes no attempt to prevent accidents? Many of the comments you make in this thread are ignorant. that's the problem with this country. everybody is lookin for the free handout for there stupidity. when the guest doesn't get off the handrail after the 3rd announcement, hes not getting off after the 10th. they dodnt have to keep announcing it.
-
I don't mind it if you can understand them. some, you have no clue what they are saying during the spiel, its just annoying. and how many times do I really need to hear about some 12 yr old standing on the hand rail. who gives a crap. if he wants to fall on his ass or head, so be it. they dont need to announce that every 2 seconds. some just want to show what kind of powet they have, just like a crappy cop.

540 feet drop would still be insane. That's longer than the tallest drop on a roller coaster, it can't be right. I think the drop on this slide is probably 100ft, and the author of the article added a 0 and just went with it. per the park owner its a 100ft drop. watch the 2nd clip this is a clip from fox 5ny from posted yesterday. he mentions a couple stats on zero-g http://www.myfoxny.com/clip/10306295/action-park-2 here is another clip, the owner of action park mentions the drop http://www.myfoxny.com/clip/10306015/action-park-reopens

Yeah Toro has gotten more aggressive lately since it's a bit more bumpier than it used to be and it feels like it runs a little faster than it should. Personally, I love it even more now because it feels much more like a wooden coaster, but everyone has their own opinions on that. When the ride was glass smooth, it literally felt like a steel coaster made of wood but now it definitely feels much more wooden. I still wouldn't consider it rough though. Nitro's C train also feels very wooden (but not in a good way lol) I'm guessing you didn't ride the C train. (You don't want to haha) Have they fixed the C train on nitro yet? I take it SFGADv maintenance dodnt do test runs on it, because it has been horrible since opening day.
