This looks great!... El Loco on steroids -
Personally think it might be an iron horse treatment for the woodie... With rumours of "iron colossus" at SFMM, maybe the two parks are thinking the same thing? If it's a hyper/mega m type coaster, I actually think it'll be an intamin, seeing as their last two major installations have been from them. Could we see North America's first mega lite?... Or at least something sick like SFNE Bizaro or Wallabi's Goliath? Then again, with the falcons fury issues, maybe they'll decide to go with someone we haven't thought of for a similar ride?.. Maybe chance perhaps? A higher capacity, larger version of LR would be awesome!

Wow... Haven't seen this in about 10 years! Actually, this is probably one of the better coaster videos I've seen... Better than insane coaster wars Around the 2:30 mark, it kinda shows how outdated this video is though... RMC, the coaster gods, are changing it all Love how after 10-15 years, BTR clones are still awesome though -
^I can relate to that for sure. Find sometimes, if a POV is shot properly, and a ride is good, you can almost "feel the airtime". ^^I also really like the park walkthroughs. Really gives a sense of what vibes a park gives off. I also find it helps to give a sense of how the park's layed out, and what rides to hit first... Those cartoony park maps don't always do justice lol.

Sorry if this doesn't warrant a full blown thread. I was just wondering if anyone specifically had a reason why they watch YouTube vids and POVs of various rides. Personally, I'll mainly watch POVs & off-rides of new rides, or of stuff at parks I'm going to soon, but occasionally, when I'm bored, i just type in a random coaster or flat's name into YouTube and sort of follow the links in the side bar for no real reason. Oh, and of course, if I just wanna watch a plain old good video, that'll be sure to make me , i just head on over to TPR's channel! So, what are your thoughts?

Just a thought, who here watches YouTube videos of rides, just to find hilarious GP comments? -

Granted, but raptor, MFN, Maverick and MaxAir are down all day. I wish myhometown would get it's first park, with a lightning run clone, and tons of amazing flats and attraction. -

Granted, but then the lines for your favourite ride are massive. I wish the GP didn't think rides were unsafe. -

Well, this may be a bit of a stretch, but I'd be willing to call it the lightning run of dark rides... It's relatively cheap, and may not be perfect, however, for the relatively low cost, this is amazing. So glad to have this at my home park! Can't wait to try it out soon. -

Granted, but then just 100 isn't enough... You go for 200, 300, 400 etc. then spend you're whole life working toward the next 100, and never ride another coaster again. I wish RMC would make a full steel coaster, at my home park (Canada's Wonderland), and also redo all the woodies with topper track & put in Outlaw Run-esque elements. -
^Havent done as remain swing, but can totally agree with you on the last two.. The freefall towers and drop slides are some of my fav rides. They scare you just enough to give you that adrenaline rush, but at the same time, they're fun enough to keep you coming back!... Some I guess would argue that makes the "perfect" ride.

Anyone have pics/vids from the CWmania event at guardian? -
This was actually kind of embarrassing... Was at a local fair recently, and my friends and I decided to ride the larson fireball, AKA ring of fire. As this was the first ride I would do of the season, I was a little apprehensive. To make matters worse, We sat in the front row. Overall, it wasn't too bad once we got going, but every time the op stopped the train upside down, I said every four letter word I could think of. I'm not a huge fan of hang time to begin with (absolutely hate looping starships), and the fact that that we were in the front row, meaning we were constantly leaning forward into the OTSRs, made it one of the only ride experiences in recent memory that legit had me scared. Not a fun way to start off the season, especially considering I looked bad in front of a bunch of people who know rides don't scare me. Thankfully, I made up for a rough start to the season. The next ride was the ARM drop tower.. 'Nuff said

I don't mean to pick your post apart, but I don't think they have "changed the face of coasters." What they have done is perfected the basics without using any gimmicks. They put together a product that delivered more thrills than something that costs as much as gatekeeper. The ride is really genius in its simplicity. Ya, I agree... Probably should've worded things better... However, I do believe the point I made about the zipper holds true. It's cheaper, yet provides awesome thrills.

After riding an ARM drop tower yesterday at a fair, the woman in the seat next to my friend and I, who clearly knew nothing about rides, began screaming and shouting at the op about how "this f***in' ride is unsafe". Because she "came out of her seat", and "thought they'd die". She then went on to say she'd "sue the no life b****s for all they had if they didn't fix the ride." The whole time, she was holding up the line. My friend and I couldn't stop laughing. -

^Ya, aside from the lack of theming in the station, this ride looks great. It may not be exactly universal/Disney quallity, but for a regional park chain known for record breaking coasters, this ride looks awesome . So glad to have this at my home park . & who knows, maybe in the off season they'll "finish" the station. As a side note, love how this combines my two favourite hobbies, coasters and gaming. Can't wait to try this! -

^Too bad to hear. All the Mondial rides I've done have been very good, except for Windseeker. Found that even on relatively bad programs, most of their flats still delivered. Guess that's not the case with demon Still wanting to try it though.
