This sums it up: "The ride experience was crazy though! So good! It just really needs headphones built into the strap that goes around your head. With full audio it would be completely immersive. The VR was still ridiculously awesome though and made the ride very intense!" Still, they have to square away the wait issue.

Yeah, I saw that. There are always growing pains. Only time can tell if it will work. Good news is that everyone seemed to like the experience though.

So far, very positive reviews on the VR at SFOG. There were no complaints. No assigned seating, etc. Looking forward to this.

Not assigned seating, though I agree with some of what u r saying. You brought up the business aspect. Well, whether intended or not, SFA has gotten some publicity on one of our major morning news shows. That will help bring folks in. So, from a business standpoint, it may actually be a smart move. All that will go down the toilet if one of those flies off and busts someone in the dome. Then they'll have to pay a lawsuit, negating any profit made.

Ok, from my guy in the park. There is no assigned seating in the train per Se. Also, you'll put these on well before the loading station. So all you'll have to do is put the headset down once the seatbelt is clicked in. Very little delay. I'll bellyache with the rest of you if he is wrong, and my survey will show it.

On one hand, I'm glad that it is SF "leading the way" with giving this a shot- is it for me? Probably not....but neither is the carnival ride on the lake that's under construction (damn I said it again!) That said- because it is SF leading the way...out come the bashers! - If it were Disney who made this announcement today, then XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO - CP- same thing! - SF- "this is stupid, it will slow down lines," etc....... +1..Can't seem to make some happy, even though they are OPTIONAL.

I think it would be better to have three or four consecutive rows be Virtual Reality Rows, while the rest are normal. Y'all do know they are optional, right? Nothing is ever wrong with choice.

I was under the impression it was an uncharge but hearing that it's not, I'm in! Slightly concerned about dispatch times being longer with the VR sets but time will tell. The only ride I ever see the ops hustle on there is Joker's Jinx. SFA is going to be seeing more of us with this and now HITP this year too! Good news is that you'll actually start to set it up between trains.

Hey, with all of that extra money saved this year, the park got new go-karts.

I think RMC will get their hands on ROAR sooner than later.

I also wouldn't be surprised if this is the case, knowing the park is fairly compact outside of Gotham City and their most popular coasters are in this section. Also, I think everyone should believe it when he says "hint." This is what I know. They really want both of the kid sections going for this event.
