Because the Baltmore Inner Harbor rules and Six Flags America sucks. Lol,..not really. I go to both quite a bit. I'll go to SFA any day over the harbor. I do agree with the crabs and beer thumbs up though. Yeah, but you're spoiled. If you're just visiting then eating Maryland crab is a big deal. Nothing compares to the way they do it in Maryland / Baltimore. I stand by my crabs (could be in the form of a crab cake) and beer suggestion. Oh and to the original poster... remember to put Old Bay on everything. It's a Maryland tradition. And try a Natty Boh. It sucks but we love it anyway. Yup, I'll give you that. Very spoiled. There is this crab place called "My Place" that just opened by my house. Gets fresh crab everyday. Hmm, it's great.

If you aren't doing the water parks, this would be easy on a Monday. Get there when it opens, ride everything twice (not Apocalypse), get the shows under your belt (you will miss block party which is too bad: it only goes at 6pm), and eat. You will be hurting getting to PA anytime after 3-330. The Metro crap has jacked up the roads worst than they already were. If u are doing the water park, you will really be pushing it.

It's called growing pains of a new technology. From working in the tech sector, I can tell you that it happens. Every park that has VR are having the same issues, especially with the lines. It'll more than likely work itself out over time. Glad mine worked perfectly. Where are the comments on Twitter and Instagram? I do not see them anywhere.

If it were me- I'd be selfish and knock out the left-hand side of the park (Ka> Zumi> El Toro> Bizarro), then the right-hand side of the park (Batman> Nitro> Skull).....have lunch, and wait on line for the Safari. I find that you need to leverage the 10:15am- 12:15pm hours as much as you can.....otherwise you will be staring at 45- 90 minute wait times for their major coasters, with a "typical" crowd in the park. One way or the other, I can't wait.

Any day in the summer is a crap shoot! Best bet is to "risk" heading there when bad weather is in the forecast, and hope that you get a window of no rain....easy for me to say, as I'm only 20- 25 minutes from the park! Here's the bottom line for any visit/any day of the week to SFGA: - get your A$$ up early and plan on arriving to the parking lot between 9am- 9:15am - early arrival gets you through security fairly quickly, and thus be one of the first people in line to get into the park - once you are in the park, head left and go: Kingda Ka> Zumi> El Toro> Bizarro (it should be around 12pm at that point) - high tail it to the other side of the park and go: Batman> Nitro> Skull - at that point, have fun with the crowds! Do whatever it is you like to do.....and keep your expectations low (in terms of wait times) Also: - you'll get some feedback about "not missing" the Safari, however- you'll need close to 2 hours from start to finish- your call - if it wasn't "new for 2016," trust me- you wouldn't wait on line for The Joker for more than 15 minutes....it will have the longest line in the park (as it is new/advertised like hell), and not worth giving up on the other coasters I mentioned above Have fun...... I appreciate it. I kinda want to leave the safari out, but my daughter is looking forward to it. The one at Disney blew her mind since some of the animals came right up to the truck.

How are Fridays in the summer here (late June-early July, not July 4th weekend)? Going to do what we didn't get to do during HITP (El Toro, Ka, Safari, etc) Never getting on the Dark Knight or Green Lantern again, so I can skip those. To me, Superman and Batwing are close to the same, so I can skip that too. What I will do is ride Batman the Ride and Nitro multiple times. Looking like El Toro too. Can't wait to get my first ever ride on it. If I can skip 'anything', let me know. I'm spending the entire day, but want re-rides on the top performers.

Reality check - Some people here tend to get very carried away with their praise of the Skull Mountain drop from the back row. Now, I'm not hating on it, I like the drop, but that's all you get. It's a matter of taste but Skull is really just about that pop of air. The rest of the ride is kind of a joke. Yup

Let me tell y'all. I had my reservations about the VR, but those reservations are officially down the toilet. It was pretty damn awesome. Let me chuck some arguments against them right now. I've heard some say that: 'one of the best things about coasters is seeing the scenery and the track',...blah blah blah...lol Though I agree with that, here's the thing. Don't wear them then! Man, by all means don't ride any of the dark ride coasters, or any at night time. You'll really be pissed. The only real legitimate gripe is going to be the line. They doubled the staff up there, so it wasn't as slow as I thought, but Saturday is going to be a great test. The fitting portion didn't take that long, but will be a hindrance. For someone who has never ridden, or doesn't have great knowledge of the track, they are in for a treat. The only complaint I have is that the sound is not loud enough. I'm going back tomorrow for sure. Got 5 rides in today. May go for the same tomorrow.

Well, back then, that was the only time the general public could ride the train. Otherwise, you needed to be going to the catering section. Now that it's opened to all, it's simply a train ride (like Hersheypark's) rather than a transport, as it completes a circuit without stopping at a second station along the way. You can still get off and on at the catering part. Two years ago you could. There was no train last year.
