  1. How can CP call Pipe Scream a coaster when they refused to acknowledge that Superman The Escape was the first 400ft coaster?
  2. Interesting how Cedar Point gets two huge B&Ms within 3 years, while other parks have gone like 6-7 years without a coaster addition. I think that's where Six Flags is better than Cedar Fair, they tend to spread capital more evenly among their parks.
  3. It's no one's fault including Revolution... It's like someone not knowing they have an allergy to shellfish eating a bucket of crab legs for the first time. The crab legs are safe for everyone else who doesn't share that same allergy, should the restaurant stop serving them in case someone else with an unbeknownst allergy consumes them? This is just a terrible, unfortunate occurence... Revolution is almost 40 years old, and with the exception of an ill-informed employee...has a perfect safety record.
  4. I'm seeing a KK/Holiday World trip in '16 on the horizon
  5. Interesting how this question was ignored, anyone who doubts RMC has obviously never ridden one
  6. Every ride that RMC has i-boxed has been improved immensely. The only argument against the i-box is the traditional wood coaster feel being taken away, but it's a sacrifice I don't mind Plus if you're jonesing for sone real wood, Goldstriker is only 45 mins away
  7. So pretty much confirms RMCs for Dollywood, Kentucky Kingdom, and Discovery Kingdom
  8. It seems like WC is getting such mixed reviews. Some sre saying it's their #1 by far, while others are saying it's good but only top 15-20 material. I read one review that said it was meandering around the course so slowly that they thought it would valley. I'm kinda conflicted on whether or not to make the 3,000 mile trek to SFNE
  9. Goldstriker is leaps and bounds better than Roar, one of the most relentless wooden coasters I've ever ridden.
  10. Goldstriker is leaps and bounds better than Roar, one of the most relentless wooden coasters I've ever ridden.
  11. I rode Revolution and Viper for the first time in a few years last night during ERT, and Revolution is definitely the more painful of the two. There was always headbanging on Rev but it was relatively smooth in the past, now it seems not to track very well.
  12. Just rode TC in row 1 for the first time, definitely the best seat for ejector air
  13. Roar is the perfect candidate for an RMC conversion, it's relatively compact and twists in and out of itself.
  14. I love the idea of them converting Vortex, it's not as rough as Mantis but definitely could use an upgrade.
  15. A dueling wing coaster? How much space would they need for that????
  16. Right now they're waiting for a piece to fix something with le Cobra and it will reopen before June 24th. Also there's some rumors that started one or two years ago between the employees that le Cobra is going to be demolished to build a new coaster for 2017. There hasn't been any rumors of le Monstre getting the I-Box track in 2017 and the reason why the track #2 is closed is because they're retracking parts of the track with topper track also in 2013 they baught new PTC trains for the ride and they retracked it with topper track in 2012 or 2013 so they already spent a lot of money on that ride recently and if they do build an RMC coaster at La Ronde it'll more likely be where le Cobra is because that section of the park looks pretty abandoned, they haven't repainted ke Cobra since 2002, in 2008 they took out the Spongebob squarepants 3D ride and they closed that movie theatre last year also, in 2011 they took out la Tornade wich made that area look much more abandoned than before. Holy run-on sentence
  17. Which park has the golden ticket for the 3rd RMC next year???
  18. I always seem to end up on rows 9 and 11. Curious to try rows 1 and 7 now.
  19. I really hope the rumors are true, two RMCs in California would be stupendous
  20. Moving on to relevant discussion...like others have said I feel like Gradv has a great line-up and a 4D will compliment the bigger stuff quite well.
