Definitely guilty of sending rider clips to non-coaster nerd friends for this reason alone. Also, this thing looks insane. The airtime over the drop in the back has gotta be nuts.

LOL as much as that term is thrown around here, no one has actually ever called me that, but I'll take it! 6 out of my top 10 are Intamins, BUT its only because they are incredible rides, not *just* because they are Intamins. I don't have a high credit count (at least compared to some on here) and I don't feel like I favor one manufacturer over the other. I like different rides for different reasons. I just happen to really love a bunch of their coasters. Wouldn't it be great if Hershey stayed w/ them for the next two big coasters? Would that make the park the Intamin capital of the world, as Great Adv is w/ B&Ms? I might just consider moving to Hershey, PA lol (and thats huge for a city boy like me!)

^ I'm sure many people thought Skyrush would look awful when it was determined it would be built right on top of Comet, but look how that turned out. Best. Ever. Anyways why does it HAVE to be built on top of anything? Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't the park just acquire all that land southeast of the park?

Probably my favorite thing about Hershey (other than how awesome the entire park is) is that its basically the Intamin mecca of the east coast. They should keep it that way. More Intamin please. Only Intamin please.

So not to change the subject, what's the deal with the bugs @ CP? Are they really that bad? And is it this early in the season? I keep reading about these muffleheads, and have read some horror stories (eating bugs on coasters, etc). Is it true they usually start and are really bad this time of year? Or more in June? Bad at night only? Back of park more or less? I can deal but the other half has some bug issues, lol. Just curious... Stoked to hear Wicked Twister is testing! We'll be there in 5 days...

This is my one and only gripe with it. Otherwise I think its a great fit overall, and especially a great fit in their the Plaza Del Carnival section of the park. People wanted more flats and we got a decent, inverting flat, filling a void many people complained was there. Thanks for the photos and report. At least (it seems) the park is really putting some oompf into the rollout and promotion of the ride, regardless of the whole 'coaster or not' debate. It looks great where it is, I really can't wait to see what it looks like at night. And the fact that a Six Flags media day has sponsors should be a surprise to absolutely no one.

I LOVED these rides as a kid and haven't ridden one since. I was sooooo stoked when I realized Kennywood still has theirs, since we'll be there next week!

I only rode Roar and Wildcat once each last fall within a month of each other and apparently I have a high tolerance for rough woodies, because while these get terrible reviews from enthusiasts, I didn't think either of these were particularly brutal. If I had to pick one, I'd say Roar was worse.

So... some more questions lol. About beer. Because we love beer. We'll be bringing a packed cooler for our room but curious can we take our own beer on the beach? To the pool? How lenient are they about walking around with alcohol inside the hotel/resort? Obviously we wouldn't try to take our beer INTO the park as we're sure that wouldn't fly (I'm assuming they are the same way w/ food). Other than price (as I'm assuming its overpriced like any park), how is it with buying beers inside the park? Lots of places? Best places? Do they allow you to walk around inside the park w/ beer or do you have to stay in the same spot you bought it? If so, if I buy a beer IN the park and decide to back to Breakers will they give me a hard time? Anything else I need to know about CP and beer? LOL Thanks!

I just popped in to say I don't care what Wild One looks like because that ride is AWESOME!
