  1. Was only there once in 2014 but yes policy seemed to be the same - we got rerides on Jokers Jinx and Superman multiple times, though on Superman we had to play musical chairs a few times. The only other coaster we rode more than once was Wild One but that was a few times spread throughout the day. You couldn't pay me to ride any of the other coasters there again. I do want to go back for Supes, JJ and WO, they are all great.
  2. Eat something! You need to grow some meat on those bony thighs SkinnyBill!
  3. ^^^Cool picture. I love seeing Nitro from over there. Most times going to the park we wind up taking the turnpike over from PA and then 195 to 537, but sometimes if we're leaving from my house in Philly we have taken the Betsy Ross over and then the back roads, which makes for a much quicker trip if there is no traffic, and come up 537 from the opposite direction and I love that its like farmland and cornfields and then... all of the sudden Nitro's hammerhead appears out of nowhere.
  4. This is absolutely hands down my most anticipated ride of 2016 (if you couldn't already tell by how often I post about it here lol). I have a feeling its gonna be bananas, not to mention easy for me to get to!
  5. ^ LOL that was a great day to be @ SFA, it was empty!
  6. That's the best trip report. I was dying at your text this morning.
  7. The tophat is IN! You can see them putting in the final bolts and whatnot right now. Also the park just uploaded a whole bunch of pictures to their FB page. This thing is going to be insane.
  8. They really just need a wide pathway/sidewalk that runs all along the front of the park from Ka, past GL and Supes up to the entrance. Would also be nice to see preferred parking shrunk a bit since its almost never at capacity.
  9. THIS. I personally think (as a non driver obviously) that the lack of walkable pathways from the lot to the park is ridiculous and the biggest issue they need to fix with a parking lot refurb. Yes, the potholes and general disintegration of roadway is insanely terrible but having to walk through traffic to get to your car is a huge safety issue and I'm surprised it hasn't caused a major problem so far with someone getting hit by a car while traversing the lot.
  10. Don't forget, they announced HITP on April Fools last year, and that actually did happen! This might be the real deal!!!!!
  11. You know what guys? As I said it was completely hearsay and I just realized its April Fools. So there you have it. I'm not saying its not happening, but I am saying its April Fools today. (I am still gunning for Storm Runner to get them)
  12. You really think Bizarro is forceless? What are you smoking? It's not relentless throughout for sure, but on a good day it definitely has its moments: the zero-g no doubt, it really rips through the cobra roll, the helix after the midcourse is pretty heavy, the first vertical loop in the front or back of the train. Speaking of which, you really get yanked nicely through the entire course sitting in the back of Bizarro. My fave floorless out of Hydra, Rougarou and Bizarro, and by a large margin.
  13. ^trains have been testing/running on Stormrunner, photos are floating around. Same old restraints. I don't think it's strange that Skyrush would get an adjustment, it has probably the most complained about restraints in the entire industry.
  14. So this is completely hearsay but seems Skyrush is the coaster that is in fact getting the soft I305/Maverick restraints. This would explain the delay in its opening. I'm on the fence about it since just having the lapbar provides the true terror but I think with OTSR I might like Skyrush a bit more, at least giving me the option of not white knuckling that monster.
  15. I would postpone your trip if Skyrush is not going to be running. That's just me though, I'm not one of these Thighcrush pussies.
  16. ^ Not sure why the cam isn't working for you (it doesnt work on my phone, but on my home and work comps its fine) but if you can see the screenshot I posted earlier you aren't missing anything. The top hat did not go up today, though it seems to be the only piece left. They were doing a lot of stuff on the ground and I assumed that maybe we'd see the last piece go in, but maybe it'll be tomorrow. I could see them having local media there when they top it off. We'll just have to wait and see.
  17. WE HAVE A DROP! Looks GREAT! And like trackwork is almost done. Also, it sure as hell looks like they are about to install the top hat.
  18. You do realize you skipped the best ride in the park? Part of me likes most folks not being aware of the amazing, far superior back car rides on this beast, but why oh why does anyone wait for the front row on El Toro? It's truly baffling to me. It always has SUCH a long long wait but just WHY. Golden Rule of Toro: Once you go back you never go back.
  19. @Password121 I really am looking forward to your trip as I can't wait for you to ride Phantom. (sorry this post is about an underrated coaster, sue me) Make sure a back and front ride are accomplished, in that order. The back really rips you down that first curved drop not to mention the buckwild drop into the ravine. The airtime hills after the tunnel and back to the station were phenomenal back there, but the airtime on those hills in the front is flat out ridiculous. Not sustained, but just relentless ultra violent pops into the restraint on each hop. I hope that as much as it was for me, it winds up being a very special ride on your trip. Its so unique and intense. Let us appreciate some of Dr. Alvey's work. The one and only drawback of PR is the slooooooooow ass lift hill. The fact that the onride camera is placed on an airtime hill is genius. Should be mandatory on every ride.
  20. LOL what debate? There are no lines at Dorney. You know it, I know it. The only ones who want to debate this are the locals/employees on here that know the truth based on obvious evidence provided by the surrounding parks, but feel compelled to defend their home turf. I get that, but there is no lines at Dorney and there is no debate to be had about it. (I'm no talking about the waterpark, I know it does well.) But seriously, they could have just moved the Screaming Swing right there where that queue switchback is in front of Thunderhawk that probably hasn't been used in over a decade. If new trains and paint job change that I'll eat my foot.
  21. ^ I'm not sure what you're getting at but I kinda like it.
  22. Sorry, nope. You actually only stated that you never sat in the front. That still leaves something like 20someodd seats.
