Do we know what day the six flags announcement is this year?

I met people on the train last week that 100% thought it was gemini. I guess the double up and double down being right next to each other looks like dueling track. They were convinced that it was just broke down.

Lol yeah we expect it to be pretty crowded but want to hear what some regulars have to say. We are staying far away from the water park for that very reason. We've done the water park many times so we aren't really missing anything. We love the water park but the crowds there will I'm sure be unbearable

This year will include visits to SFSL, WoF, SDC, SFSL again (gotta love season passes), Holiday World, Kentucky Kingdom, and Kings Island. We will be at Kings Island Monday the 14th. We've been to the park many times so we know what we are doing there. Just curious about the crowd. Thank you so much in advance

This year will include visits to SFSL, WoF, SDC, SFSL again (gotta love season passes), Holiday World, Kentucky Kingdom, and Kings Island. We will be at KK sunday the 13th for most of the day, about noon-closing We've been to the park a couple times in the last couple years so we know the park well. Mainly just curious about the crowds. We will be at holiday world for most of the day on Saturday the 12th, but probably won't be there at opening. We've been to holiday world a few times in the last 2 years so we know the park fairly well and this stop in will really just be for the amusement park. We are curious about the crowds we will encounter that day and any tips you have about plan of attack or about the park in general. Thank you so much in advance

Is it ever not running well? It's possibly the smoothest ride I've ever ridden and I've never once had a bad ride on it. Neither had I but this year has been pretty bad. The first 2 rows are still wonderful but the rest of the train is pretty bouncy especially if the train isn't full OMG. This is the most insane thing ever calling GK bouncy. not sure why it's insane. having ridden on the back left about 1 month ago? yep, "bouncy" is pretty accurate. tho the front was always smooth. Having ridden it 38 times on a trip just 3 weeks ago, the notion it's bouncy is insane. GK is the smoothest or one of the smoothest coasters around. I go to a ton of parks, 8 this year already. which means absolutely NOTHING. several people report the same "bouncy" experience. you didn't have that experience (and you got to ride it 38 times!!). Whoopie-do. (I rode it 6 times over 3 days, once in fog! so I win!!) others have. so to call someone referring to it as "bouncy" as "insane" ? let's just say your experience does not match what others have experienced, and leave it at that. Insane people hear the same voices once one insane person puts the notion in the ether. GK is in no way bouncy. The group think insanity is hilarious. Btw, you lose in more than one way. Dude stop with the attacking of what me, bert, and many other people think. We know what we feel on the ride. To us it is there. Don't discredit our opinion because you didn't feel the same thing. Btw I rode GK in the front row today and it was wonderful

When GK is running well, it's a nice change of pace from the other coasters in the park. It's more of a nice ride than an aggressive thrill ride.

And in regards to the maverick thing... It's fine lol. Rode it 5 times today. Just as fast as usual Also got 22 rides on millennium today. Screw dragster

Sarcasm aside, I know it's normal for dragster. I was talking more about maverick. Believe me I know what a pain the butt TTD is

Maverick was down all day on the 4th. Don't know why. Dragster was down most of the day but opened at like 7 and broke again close to the end of the night if memory serves me right and to my knowledge hasn't been open since I'll be at the park tomorrow and will report back

I remember using fastlane on the Sunday around the 4th a couple years ago and we had no issues getting on anything. The park was mobbed and the regular lines and food lines were crazy but FL+ was great!

Park plaza is the name of the gift shop in question. Right across from the skyride entrance at the front of the park and next to starbucks.

If you have a pass do fury early ride time. Then do Nighthawk as bill mentioned and maybe Intimidator. From there do ricochet then you'll be good from there. You'll walk on everything else no problem. Have fun!

I've seen and heard workers doing their thing around the ride but not much track has gone in. I very well could be wrong but they may have added more supports to the lift.
