The Idlewild sign beigh brown means it's some kind of state park or something. Hope that helps anyone, I doen't help me. *edit* There is a Lake Idlewild in Florida. The is also a Idlewild state park in Iowa.

Thats cool that Six Flags was able to help raise some money. The local news here (Sacramento, Stocton, and Modesto) raised 1.6mill a few days ago. Thats a lot of money. I find it funny that the John L. Sullivan Anuto Group only donated 30k (10 from each dearship), and some random family donated 100K.

Um..., no thats correct. I think they are talking about drop height, not structual height. Top thrill dragsters drop is only 400ft. *edit* After all, if they were talking about structural height, wouldn't High Roller have the record?

(A little off topic, but I got thinking about it after all the family ride talk.) Lets face it, most of Walt's original ideas and dreams for the Disney parks have faded. I agree that his dreams of Disney parks being for familys has faded a little in the sence of the newer rides they are building, but Disney parks as a whole are in no way not oriented for familys. Another one of Walt's dreams that I think is nothing like his origional dreams is WDW. I don't think Walt ever wanted to make the Macig Kingdom what it is. I've seen the travel channel specials and everything, and I don't belive that Walt didn't leave anything behind to base it off of, other than Disneyland. EPCOT is other thing. EPCOT is nothing like how he wanted it to be. Experimental? No. Prototype? No. Community? No. Views of the future? No, other than Mission Space and Inoventions. Walt left behind a model of what he invisioned EPCOT to be, and this model can be found above Buzz in Tomorrowland at the Magic Kingdom. Why Imagineers threw all that out the window and made a "Worlds Showcase" Is beyond me. Anyway...

Well I certantly wouldn't want to continue living there after that. The city will be rebuilt, it will just take a very long time for it to return to the way it was, if it ever does. Luckily I live in an area where the only thing we worry about it fires and fires can be prevented and controled.

Well is isn't a hyper. It may be 200ft tall, but the biggest drop is only 175ft.

I just noticed that this thing has no MCBR. Looks like they know that they won't be sending out the trains fast enough to need one.
