  1. ^^perspective made it seem taller, so probably not a tall ride then. The airplane coaster was 92 ft, maybe it's hinting at that height.
  2. As much as I like Condor at SFGam, I'm not sure that Six Flags would invest in one. Also the ballon appears to be above sky screamer, making it seem it will be taller then it, unless it will be the tallest condor ride.Just my interpretation of the clue.
  3. ^I was thinking it had something to do with the height too. It's probably indicating that it's going to be taller then Sky Screamer. Not sure what that could be though.
  4. A new poster for the new Jurassic World movie was released. I'm really excited for this movie, as long as it's as good as the first one!
  5. So apparently the park thinks that what ever is coming to the park next year is going to be bigger than SROS was? She also said it would be better than all of the things the park added the last few years combined Is a new ride replacing Cyclone or will it be a hybrid wooden coaster? Maybe it'll be a new RMC coaster build from scratch, like Goliath. But bigger
  6. ^I thought Goliath was a great ride and it met my expectations, I expected it to be short so I wasn't let down by that. The airtime was great! This was my first RMC, so I can't compare it to others, but I thought it was perfect. The design perfectly fits in the compact area it's in
  7. Had a great day at the park today, rode Goliath for the first time. Around 8 the park had a power outage to half of the park, causing Superman,Batman,V2, and I think X-flight to shut down. Since this was late in day I got on all the rides I wanted still. The park even gave out free tickets to return because of the power outage.
  8. Just rode Goliath for the first time, it was really awesome!! Goliath from X-flight station.
  9. Just wondering, does the park allow guests in before 10:30, but have things roped off and stuff, I'm assuming it does, but wanted to make sure. How early should I arrive at the park? I've gotten gold flash pass, but gonna need to run to goliath right away!
  10. Not sure if this was posted, from Screamscape. Maybe a more thrilling Wonder Mountain's Guardian.
  11. ^I think they're announcing a new parade and a new firework show for the 60th anniversary today, I'm assuming thats why they have the banners up.
  12. ^Thats a really good representaion of what this will propbably actually look like!
  13. I've never watched the classic series, but my favorite doctor from the revival is Matt Smith, but Peter Capaldi might beat that based on trailers.
  14. Construction Update-November 14th,1998 Hello, I am Tyler Miller, the Head Architect for the Wild Northwest Amusement. The head of the company asked me to take a couple of pictures of construction going on at the park for the next couple of weeks while I'm on site. I'v always loved coasters, so this was the perfect job for me! For now the park is slowing moving forward. The amount of rain in Oregon is causing delays, but we have managed to get our wooden coaster complete! I'm hoping these delays won't push the opening back. Anyway, here's all the construction pictures I took. The finished entrance looks stunning. This is were guests will purchase tickets. A wooden coaster, which I can't name because the park wants it a secret for now, is finished. View from inside the park(the other picture was from the road beside the park). This scaffolding will eventually be buildings for the Main Street Square Section, which will bring guests way back to the 1930's and 40's! P.S I will be posting construction pictures, but Northwest Amusements will continue to post concept art and new information about the park, I heard they might release stuff about the other coasters at the park, which I'm really excited about!
  15. Hello, this will be my first storyline park with trip reports and a timeline! I'm excited about doing this because I've alwasys wanted to! I hope you all enjoy it. -Atter -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Official Park Logo. Concept art for the park's entrance. Concept art for entrance area. Teaser. Official Photos Released by Northwest Amusements. All photos owned by Northwest Amusements.
  16. Well this park is dead now , the park file became all messed up, every time I start it up it crashes.Oh well.I've decided to start fresh on a new computer, as well as starting off with a timeline, I'm actually excited about this new park that I've been think about. An update on that park will be coming soon!
  17. B&M-Vortex at California's Great America, it was extremely rough when I rode it a couple months ago. Intamin-I haven't ridden may Intamin coasters, but I guess Maverick. This was 3 years ago that I rode and I remember hitting my neck on the harness a couple times, its probably not really that bad, but the only other Intamin I've ridden was Millennium Force and California Screamin'. GCI-Roar at SFDK is pretty bad, they did replace some wood on the first drop I think, but the rest is terrible.
  18. Another mini-update, just showing off finished things from today. I'm almost done with the first part of this park, so the next update will probably be the final one of just progress updates, then I'll start a storyline for this park, which will continue until I get to 2015 in the parks history. Wild Wolf is now finished. The entrance to the classic Arrow coaster A shot of vulture A few shops for pioneer plaza, once this is done I'm basically done with park up until 2002!
  19. 2nd Update- I think once I build the park up to what it looks in 2002, I'm going to to do a timeline park, with a story and "trip reports" to the park and stuff like that, but for now I want to show off some things I've worked on. Also here is a sort of mini timeline of the park- 1988-Park Opened Roller coasters at opening- -Rattlesnake(Arrow Hyper) -The Racer(Wooden Coaster) -Wild Wolf(Arrow Looping Coaster) -Stampede(Defunct)-Shwarzkopf Shuttle coaster(1988-1999) 1990-Renegade Opens(Defunct Boomerang coaster 1990-2001) 1992-Gunslinger Opens(Drop Tower) 1993-Paramount Buys the park. 1994-Top Gun:The Ride(B&M Invert) opens and Hurler(Chaos) opens. 1996-Sasquatch added(Top Spin) 1999-Picnic area added,Stampede removed. 2000-GCI coaster rumored, but was never built. 2002-Vulture opens(Vekoma Flying Dutchmen) The park has 5 different areas, Western Village, Pioneer Plaza, Lakeside Square, Action Zone, and a kids area.(Having trouble coming up with a name for it) The Gunslinger drop tower. Top Gun:The Ride's Entrance area. Entrance to Pioneer Plaza.(This is the area is still a work in progress, but it's nearly done) The parks water ride, Timber River Falls, it opened with the park in 1988. The final coaster that needs to be finished, Wild Wolf.
  20. Just wanted to see if anyone was a whovian around here. I can't wait for series 8 to start next month!
  21. I've got a huge thunderstorm going on right now! My dogs are going insane.
  22. I just saw Dawn of the Planet of the Apes yesterday, probably one the the best movies I've seen in a while!
  23. I never really liked Tatsu, I don't hate it, but I don't like as much as some people do.
  24. One time I had a weird dream where I visited Six Flags Great America, but X-flight was in the parking lot all by itself. I remember cars being parked along side it and everything, it was strange.
