I actually found the reason for why it was crashing...so I might finish this project once I finish Wild Northwest. That might be awhile though.

You should continue the story! I just read it because you mentioned it in my thread and I think you should do it!

November 3rd, 2000 This was why the news was interviewing the CEO on my local news station...Here is the official press release -The Oregonian,Nov.3rd,2000 That doesn't sound good. I was always skeptical about a park in the northwest, but it looked like they were doing so good at first. I guess a lot factors caused these financial issues. I'll be returning home for the holidays and will visit the event. Even though I won't be visiting much, it is still sad to see such a great park close down. Personally I could see this being the end, I don't see any large companies like Six Flags or Cedar Fair purchasing because of its location. A small company would probably have the same issues that Northwest Amusements had. It was fun while it lasted though... -Greg Knight

Park Update-November 25th, 2000 I heard on the news today that my local channel is doing an interview and discussion with Northwest Amusements CEO, Jeff King. I don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing. I will keep you all posted on what is said during this interview. -Greg Knight

^ I thought the name was most likely going be Fury 325. If you look up the trademark for Centurion, nothing from cedar fair comes up, but if you search Fury 325 its the first thing that shows up. I personally like Centurion better then Fury 325.

Trip Report(Sort of)-July 28th, 2000 I visited the park one last time for the summer today. I'm leaving for college in a couple of days, but I'll be back for the holidays in December for the event! This is kinda embarrassing, but I left my camera in at my house, so I didn't take any photos. Instead I'll show off some of these really cool aerial shots that park released! As for the park itself, it was not the best day. Ricochet was closed again for some reason( I don't think it was for the same reason) and Wave Swinger and Northwest Wheel were closed too! I asked why they were closed and they said they weren't expecting many crowds today and decided to close some rides to save on costs. Every ride was a walk on and it is July! I feel bad for the park, but it seems like they aren't trying, which is why they seem to be failing. OK, enough of that, here are the aerial shots! Thunderstorm from above. Great Trip Report! This is the closest park to me, I haven't been in a while, but it still looks like a fun park!

I really like the Outer Limits area and the I also like how you didn't use the name Face/Off, very unique and creative!

Thunderstorm Grand Opening Trip Report-July 1st, 2000 Today was the grand opening of Wild Northwests new ride,Thunderstorm! I was so excited to finally ride it! The park held a special event for season pass holders to come and ride the ride an hour before the park opened. I was really happy I decided top get a season pass! The crowds at the event were very light, so I rode it about 12 times! The park also opened up some other rides near by,which included Ricochet!!!! It finally re-opened! Sadly with 1 train operation though. Anyway I had a great day and as always took photos! Here they are! The ride is very noticeable from almost anywhere in the park! I was actually getting kinda scared as I got closer to it. There was not a lot of people at this awesome event .This was the line. Only like 5min, maybe. This is such a great addition to the park! I can't believe I was over 200 ft in the air! Once the park opened to the public I decided to go ride Ricochet for the first time in a long time! I missed seeing this ride running.The line got long quick because of the 1 train operating. I was prepared to leave, but as I passed Grizzly I felt like giving it a ride.That was a mistake, the line ended up being 75min.! It was so late after I got off, I ended up staying until park closing! This may seem early for any speculation, but I noticed that some trees and bushes were removed here. Interesting. On my way out I ate at the small cafe by the entrance. It was delicious. As much as I enjoyed myself today at the park, I have to say that it seem be going downhill. I've seen less and less people at the park, I also don't ever see any advertisement for it anywhere. The employees are rude this year and they seem to hate their job! I also read in the news that Thunderstorm was purchased when the park was being planned, so the park never really bought a new ride this year, I was thinking they had a good financial income and was able to purchase a new ride, but I don't know now. I hope the park improves,it just seems like the park has never had a success with the accident in its first year and the attendance drop this year. I will still continue to visit the park before I leave to college, so watch out for another trip report soon. -Greg Knight

A couple weeks ago I said that Dawn of the Planet of the apes was my favorite movie this year, well after seeing Guardians of the Galaxy I take that back! This was such an amazing movie.Great action and spectacular comedy is what makes this movie so great! 9.9/10! -.1 because the secret post credit ending wasn't worth the wait for the credits to finish rolling.

Not really a park update ,just some questions and some info on the future of this park! Just out of curiosity, So far, how do you guys feel about the storyline for this park? Is it good or bad? How could it improve? I'm not the best at coming up with a story, so I was just wondering on how I could improve it and make it better. -Also, since this is my first park, I was wondering how you guys are enjoying the park in general. I'm new to this and was just wondering how I'm doing. -Wild Northwest will go on a 1 month hiatus in September,so expect lots of great things for August! ^This is also Six Flags, so I don't expect anything to be perfect with the flashpass system. Someone is is going to find something to hate about it.

I think getting mad over someone using a flashpass is pointless really. It's their choice and the people who buy it aren't doing it to rub it in that they get to get on faster or have more money, they do it to enjoy there day at the park. Its unfair to a person when they get rude comments from someone just for having a flashpass and are trying to enjoy their day. I got a platinum pass a couple weeks ago at this park and I had an amazing day.I was able to accomplish all the rides I needed to ride on a saturday in July! Having the flashpass available was a great opportunity. I live no where near this park,so this was my only chance to be at this park for a long time. I just wanted to say my thoughts on the flashpass thing.
