  1. ^Hopefully once it's done it will also make you want to discover something that doesn't exist, and give a monkey a shower. I've tested the ride now, and it runs beautifully (and with three train operation!!!) I just have to finish the theming.
  2. So, I just got back from the park, and it was definitely an interesting day. 1) Goliath had some potentially big breakdown today (while I was unfortunate enough to be in line). And at the end of the day, no one seemed to know if it would open tomorrow, next week, or next month. 2) Green Lantern was WAY cooler than I thought it was going to be, but only if you get an unbalanced car. However, it was also super short and very Zipper-like. I rode it first thing so I wouldn't have to wait, but the ride's capacity is way too low for Magic Mountain. I heard many complaints and general unhappiness about this around the DC Universe area. 3) One of X2's trains has audio now. The other still doesn't.
  3. More of the "ground" has been laid out. And now the queue provides a nice glimpse at Perry's secret lair. What do you think?
  4. Construction is picking up! We have new structures, tunnels, and Badinkadinks!
  5. Now that I'm back home from college I can finally finish this thing! I've finished all the trackwork and the trains now look like Perry the Platypus. But there's still quite a bit to be done before it's officially complete.
  6. I was on TV!!! http://mywabashvalley.com/fulltext?nxd_id=175546
  7. Though I still have tons of theming left, the tree is finally done! Enjoy and comment.
  8. Right now I'm really loving Fringe and Raising Hope. As for past shows, Pushing Daisies is still my all time favorite.
  9. So, over Christmas break I started work on a Phineas and Ferb themed coaster in my living room. I'm going to be heading back home next week to (hopefully) finish it and take proper pictures and stuff. But meanwhile, here's a video of what I have so far. Feel free to give me suggestions and stuff, so I can make it even cooler once I get home.
  10. Wow, I'd totally forgotten about that website. I stopped going to it years ago, cause it was kind of boring. I'll admit I'm scared to post some times for fear I'll say something stupid, but I have to say that Robb and Elissa are two of the nicest people I've met. I remember a couple years ago before the Midwest trip I accidentally sent a pretty personal email to Theme Park Review (it was right above someone else's name on my conact list). I was terrified at first, but then I got one of the most encouraging replies ever. That's always stuck in my mind, and while I see how people can take some of the jokes and bans the wrong way, it's never malicious.
  11. I'd say the nominations are political, as in "movie-industry-politics." And this year, I'll really be rooting for James Franco and 127 Hours.
  12. I think I have a new favorite coaster POV video. I keep replaying the "MAKE IT STOP... Stop... stop!!!" just as the train goes right through the station.
  13. Wow, that definitely looks full speed, but I really don't want to get my hopes up. It's looking pretty awesome, regardless.
  14. Christmas Lights- Coldplay I can't belive I didn't know they were releasing new stuff!
  15. I like sticking q-tips in my ears way too much... it feels like a massage.
  16. I took the coaster down today to make room for another better one. It took a lot longer than I thought, but I filmed it all for your enjoyment.
  17. ^I think the flume-in-flume thing is more like a small slide that has a drop into a much wider trough, so that boat rocks from one end of the large portion to the other as it goes through the course (which looks like it could be incredible). I didn't think it was possible to love S&S any more... until I saw those new trains. I'm also dying to ride those looping slides.
  18. 212 foot Aquatrax= extremely ambitious And, Hershey Park seems to have a pretty close relationship with Intamin... so we can always dream. Well, at least until an announcement is made.
  19. I just joined twitter so I could follow this very noble cause of yours, Prince Desmod. Do you by any chance know my great-gandfather... he was a prince too, but in Ghana. Thank you very much. -Luke (very, excited for the big surprise)
  20. I've always dreamed of the old Arrow rides coming back (and so far, Steel Hawg is the closest my dream has come). It's too bad about Ring Racer. If it would have been reliable, it could have given Intamin rocket coasters some serious competition. Hopefully this change will only make S and S even more awesome.
  21. ^^College textbooks are the worst. I just spent $666 for my freshman year books, and I'm totally serious. So evil.
  22. I have never been so entranced by a video before. Half of me was like "That's is the most terrifying thing I've ever seen!" But the other part of me was like "I want to do that right now!"
  23. I'm majoring in Mechanical Engineering at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. My classes start tomorrow.
  24. Terminator at SFMM. I'm still frustrated I missed out on the speakers. The mist-filled tunnels were awesome, though.
  25. Finally got around to taking a whole buch of pictures. Here's a few, and the rest are over at the sscoasters gallery. http://www.sscoasters.net/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=906
