SDC Thread...there is someone there who is on the inside. A year before Outlaw Run he posted "next year SDC is going to have an inverted woodie". The dude knows his stuff.......it's a B&M, but the exact model isn't known. Will be interesting to see Outlaw Run (RMC) and big B&M addition added within the same time SFStL stays dormant on new coasters.....and if anyone says Burn Loop and Immitation-Screw are "coaster additions", I will probably implode

I find your's pretty good HOWEVER, I think the coaster addition after whatever RMC they get would be a little while after the 50th anniversary, people seem to forget that a park's anniversary does not demand a big new ride, it's just a number and looking at how it's been almost 10 years since AT.... Well, we just have to wait and find out! It could be a clone of the Joker from SFGADV I heard they won't RMC Boss due to cost and how long it is. IN addition, they're retracking a lot this off season....I feel like if they were to RMC the whole thing, they wouldn't have done any costly re-tracking this off season Where did you hear that? It was discussed at length in the SFStL thread....someone brought it up to the former President, Dave Rohmer. Sucks.

I'm seeing clues at an S&S 4th dimension. I'm doing my best not to be negative here, but that would be a huge disappointment. Those are sad excuses for a "new steel rollercoaster". I went on that and it was disappointing. Relocate Medusa or something, give the park a real, thought out, coaster....or pretend to! A used Beamer is so much better than a new S&S......

I highly suggest sprinkling some salt on those words. It makes them much tastier. I think my problem is that when I hint at things, it's either too obvious or too sneaky and is never caught. I will say this, you guys haven't examined those screenshots (from the government website on pg. 672) closely enough. I did...a few times over. Maybe I've had too much moonshine? Sorry for the double post. And I agree.....Josh, you make this thread so much fun; thank you.

I don't know exactly how much theming there is on Boomarang, but I definitely agree with the park making the best out of the situation. I enjoy the color scheme, and they did a great job integrating the coaster into that section of the park By theming I did mean color scheme, which I think is the best part of the ride. I promise I will try to be nice on this topic. It is nice that the park in more recent years with newer coasters has gone away from the mindset of "you may have your coaster in any color as long as that color is black." (I will never forgive them for changing the Ninja from the nice bright redish-orange to the depressing black. Having the Batman and Mine Train was already too many that were black) The orange and lime colors are not my favorite but it is definitely better than what Flashback had back when it was at SFOT . Having the people be able to walk underneath the track is a new thing (a good thing) for the park. The use of the steel roof means less maintenance and it looks good along with the stone work. I just wish with new rides they would use names that fit the theme of the section of the park. Here are a couple ideas I have been kicking around just for the sake a discussion. Does anyone know how much it would cost ballpark comparison for Chance (Morgan) to build a modern terrain hyper coaster similar to Phantoms Revenge compared to a B&M or Intamin hyper? Also, what about RMC? What would a hyper coaster cost from them considering that they are just under the 200 mark on many of their coasters? DEFINITELY agree with you here. Especially RMC's good nature with Six Flags, you'd think they'd get first shot and a discounted rate for one of RMC's newer "monorail" steel coasters. Again, 2 birds with one stone. You get RMC's craziness and the steel you've been deserving/promised. I know it's a pipe dream, but if SF Corporate would just see the opportunity here, it'd be awesome. 2 areas: Remove Ninja and put in something like Dare Devil Dive or RMC OR remove Tidal Wave and get some life into the park back that way with some new steel. I'm dreaming, though.........obviously. I'm just going to visit Dollywood/SDC to get my RMC fill

Yes, exactly. ANYTHING modern. Also, I think HWFan and his accomplices have confirmed NO to the Boss being RMC'd as it's too long of a track and, OF COURSE, SF won't spend the money *insert eye roll* I also think everyone feels extremely jipped as Goliath was last second scratched from SFStL for Georgia. So the park feels owed, as it should. The coaster line up is decent, but uninspiring. I'd rather, and do, drive to Kansas City for WoF.

I don't think it's even a steel thing. Give the park a coaster that isn't 27 years old from another park and lie about it.......people are unsatisfied because there isn't a big ticket re-rideable attraction worth visiting/coming back for. JL was a great, needed, addition; but address the elephant in the room............ Awesome pic report! Really cool to see the other areas of the park from a different perspective. Cheers.

Sorry this is a bit off topic..... But wouldn't it be cool to have a Gerstlaurer EuroFighter in SFSTL? I think that would be a nice compromise to the need/want of expensive Iron Boss and the always Hyper talk. Not that I'd say Gert over either....but it would be A) more steel at the park and B) a unique to the park design. Just saw an update from a Gert I think in Knobles.....looks very nice! And the SpongeBob one in MoA is great. Thoughts?
