I'm really confused. Why does the building beside the launch have a hole in the roof? Isn't that building just a decoration, or gift shop? The building the coaster passes through is by the break run. Correct?

None of them are wearing swimming suits either... Yes Well, the ones in the pool are, but why go to a water park in normal clothes?

By far the most ridiculous comment I've ever read in this thread. If that was their "plan", they might as well just tear the thing down and build it from the ground up. I seriously hope that they are just scrapping Mantis. The layout sucks anyways, and sit down trains won't change that. Sure, the clues are pointing to a sitdown conversion, but Tony could just be trying to throw us off. He was joking, hence the lemonade picture attached to it.

That's cool you live in Texas, so do I. Yes I know people are excited and I'm perfectly fine being in the small group of people who aren't. But lets say I went to Fiesta Texas this weekend and set up a booth with 2 videos: One showing Thunderbird, the other one showing Batman. If the general public had a choice of which one comes to the park, I bet 100% of them would choose Thunderbird, hence why I said I'd rather have that "boring" B&M coaster. Maybe, but... Yeah I got nothing. Your right.

I agree, I'll believe it when I see it. Has Cedar Fair bought anything from chance in the last 10 years? They seem to be sticking to B&M, but again this is a smaller market.

Height doesn't always make something a better ride.

Togo re building SOB and Mean streak and putting stand up trains in them. What's worse than another Intamin never coming to a Cedar Fair or Six Flags.

I'm curious, what would you guys rate the past SF parks?

They called the Disk-O coaster a coaster, so I'm sure they are trying to claim the title again.

If it is being completely removed, that would be dumb IMHO. Why take out one of the parks largest coasters? Aren't they trying to claim the coaster title again?

The removal wasn't confirmed, he never said it was being taken apart piece by piece.m He did state Mantis was leaving their lineup forever though. Yes, the NAME of Mantis will remove from their lineup. I would say the same thing. Mantis is just the name, it's not the pyshical coaster alone.

Maybe they are cleaning it before putting a new coat of paint on? I really don't think Cedar Point would remove one of its largest coasters for no reason.
