  1. And here I was afraid PotC would be a lot more crowded with the new additions, even in off-season. Back to its old self! Thanks again. Gotta try a Dole Whip next Sunday.
  2. "Fall 2006". Latest rumours are saying November 12th.
  3. Cool. Thanks a bunch. Another question/statement... I still have no idea what a Whataburger is (besides the obvious, a restaurant). Good food, I take it?
  4. I'm leaving for the World on Tuesday, and NOW I see a new WDW Photo TR. Great pics. Which seat would you recommend for an EE first-timer? // Passing through Gainesville sometime Thursday, will most likely beg to stop at Whataburger
  5. http://cedarpoint.com/_cpcam/cp2007.jpg?time=Fri Aug 18 15:44:30 2006 That track must have a lot of sway to it.
  6. Posted the same on PB, some are saying it's not showing up, either. Lemme guess... no one else is using IE?
  7. No, it isn't. Good find, and yes, it does indeed look like a hill.
  8. If loading guests onto an Intamin in that timeframe was possible, I'd consider it to be a good guess.
  9. Never rode it, but neither does Volcano, IIRC. Uh... look! Track!
  10. Hey, I kinda liked the Condor. Like a tilting Scrambler in mid-air... Nice pics, and dead-on about the Sky Screamer walkway. Sidenote: If you went to the mini-golf on Clifton Hill, I was there last month.
  11. Busch Gardens in a week, beeyotches.
  12. I'm technically in the band, but I would SO do that given the chance. Yelling out "The British Are Coming" is actually an inside joke amongst a few of my friends, so I found it to be pretty f'in hilarious. Nice job.
  13. I'm thinking lift as pictured in that one mock-up, and have a launch during the station fly-through/straightaway. And maybe some switchbacks?
  14. Hey, I warned you. You either mean east of Chatham, or you've insulted Essex County. It was on Canada Now on CBC, though, and that one guy broadcasts from Vancouver. Hanimensing or something. Har, har. I've only gone to Amherstburg once. Let me tell you, not a whole lot goin' on. And no, I didn't go for the first time when that fire happened. All right, now I'm confused...
  15. Well, I got excited last night when I thought Booster Bikes were Intamin-made, alas, to no avail. I figured horse-themed trains would fit the ride scheme perfectly...
  16. And I still think the spurs refer to switchbacks.
  17. Shapiro sucks... and nice use of excessive punctuation. ik hnazve a mosxquyuitiio buirte onm my rewklbiowq, saio tghuisw hurtsa to gtrhyoper.
  18. It was on both CTV News(Net?) and CBC. And don't rain on my parade!
  19. ^^ Storm Runner is the best ^ "Late night, come home, work sucks, I know..." // Still wonders how "home" rhymes with "know"
  20. Well, thanks to my new digital camera, I was able to take a picture of something that made national news! ...Sort of. Basically, there's a quite big recycling plant fire about 40 km west-southwest of here. http://www.cbc.ca/canada/toronto/story/2006/08/15/amherstburg-fire.html Here's another pic: The smoke seemed to be blown up to 50 km west... (left-ish, for the camera's eye).
  21. 2 notes: 1. Culver's frickin' OWNS 2. They have that same t-shirt at CP.
  22. Great pics, Erik! Couple of notes: Moose Jaw is a real Canadian city, hence the tie-in. Also, "Da Bears" = awesome reference.
