Looks like fun, it had some good looking corners, for a family ride anyway. I'd love to take a spin on it if I ever manage to get out to Europe, perhaps on a future TPR trip.

I am currently watching "Vehicle 19" with Paul Walker, I've seen him in some bad stuff before, but wow, I'm only 20 minutes into the movie and I'm really hoping for him to die a really horrible death. Somehow I don't think I'm going to get my wish. ------------------------------------------------------------------ Just finished watching it. Horrible, horrible, horrible, horrible....etc,etc movie.

Amberian Dawn is a great band, I particularly like Circus Black. If you like Nightwish, Tarja just releases her latest album "Colours in the Dark", I haven't picked it up yet, but I've heard some of it. It is good, but not something that hits me right off the bat, I'll see how it soaks in later. I just got Sirenia's new album "Perils of the Deep Blue", it is sounding incredible so far, however I just got it, so again, have to wait and see how it stacks up to the rest of their stuff. Tristania's latest that I also just got sounds a lot like their early stuff, a mix of hardcore Goth Metal mixed in with the Symphonic Metal. Love it. Back to Nightwish; Does anyone know when their movie Imaginaerum is going to be available in the US, I've been wanting to see it ever since the album came out last year.

The Birthday Massacre - Horror Show

I've been getting the same thing, when I go into the forums the screen goes black with the message "move mouse to continue" and then suddenly I'm at another site. The site I ended up at today didn't seem too bad, though using an inoucuous looking website is a great way to get spyware on your pc. I'm generally suspicious of any redirects, I don't run anti-virus on my pc and I still don't get viruses or malware. This is the only website that is currently doing this. *oh, and I am running Windows Vista using Google Chrome browser.

Cirque Dreams was an absolutely fantastic show, I really hope they do more shows like it in the future.

I recently went to a park with three young family members aged 13,11 and 8, the trick is to go to the restroom before getting into line and of course everyone runs into the problem of asking a child if they have to go and they say no. One possible reason for this(other than the fact that they're children) is the fact that they don't see you running to the restroom and of course, most kids want to emulate their parents. Try this instead, before getting into any long line simply state, "I have to use the restroom." and take them with you. It probably won't work all of the time, especially in the beginning, however I've seen it work quite well for me.

Could cities of the future look like giant amusement parks?

Regardless of whether or not this turns out to be the actual ride when revealed, I doubt that it was published by mistake, when information leaks in Hollywood a common trend is to release little bits of information from varying sources, some reputable, others not so much. This leads to greater speculation as to what is true and what is not and builds hype. It is possible that info leaked and Cedar Fair threw up this page to set the community on fire, which it has.

grand-texas-theme-park earthquest-developers-believe-dinosaur-park-not-extinct With two new Theme parks going up in Houston I'd keep an eye on opening dates and plan your trip accordingly, possibly doing the midwest trip next year and saving Texas for after the new parks open. Keep in mind Earthquest Adventures may not happen at all.

For anyone in Europe who might know when this movie will come to the U.S. please let me know. I've been looking forward to seeing it ever since this video came out.

I will be solo while down there, I generally like to do my own thing. Of course this will be my first event and I do like meeting new people. I won't be going on as many Coasters as most seeing how I get motion sickness, I like to take a lot of pictures and I am a fairly heavy smoker(helps to settle my stomach), but if anyone would like to hook up periodically through the day I would certainly enjoy that. I will be arriving in L.A. the evening prior to the event(driving down from NorCal) I will probably be staying in a hotel near the park so I'll be able to get to the park early, I'd like to take some early pictures of the park and visible rides from outside the park, not to mention the fact that I often simply wake up extremely early. If anyone would like to meet, let me know.

Hello, I know a lot of this thread is showing current and future updates to Ocean Park, however I thought some of you would like a few older pics. These were taken while I was in the Navy in '94, unfortunately I've lost most of my pics over the years, including an entire roll of closeups of The Dragon.

Watched Pacific Rim and loved it, got Robot Jox off of Netflix, WOW, what a difference a couple of decades make, that movie did not age well, it was still somewhat enjoyable, but it simply screamed '80's. If your looking for a little nostalgia or a good comparison between graphics of today and yesteryear, rent Robot Jox.

I rode the new Gold Striker at CGA 12 times, I ended up with a bruise the size of two fists on my hip due to the lap bar, but it was worth it.

Purchased tickets, now I just have to figure out what I'm going to do on the 8+ hour drive down there.
