  1. Both. I would like to SEE the reports in the park index, but then have an open forum for anyone who wants to to discuss the trips, photos, etc.
  2. Yeah, I saw that, and considering I'm coming from Northern California where we're seeing high 60's to low 70's, it's going to be a bit of a shock stepping off of the plane. At least I have an early flight, so the temps should be low when I'm leaving, so hopefully it won't be too bad.
  3. Leaves' Eye's - Hell to the Heaven This has to be one of their best songs to date.
  4. It's unfortunate that so many SF parks seem to be poorly managed, I have SFDK near me and although I do enjoy it, I seem to run into problems quite frequently. I am visiting SFOT for the first time on Monday, any suggestions?
  5. I'll be hitting up Dallas next week to look for a new apartment for a move from FarNorCal. I will probably try to hit the New Texas Giant first, but who knows I've never been to SFOT so I'll have to wait until I actually get there.
  6. First Coaster: Wild Mouse at SCBB at age 1 1/2 yrs old(just months before it was torn down) 1976 First Remembered: Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Disneyland at unknown age(4 - 6 yrs old) 1979 First looping coaster: The Dragon at Ocean Park, Hong Kong at age 19 1994
  7. I was able to go on this last month. It was a lot of fun albeit a bit rough and shaky, though not nearly as bad as some others that I have been on. It was overcast and rained a few times during the day, I wanted to go on this in the rain, but every time I came out of the tunnel heading for the lift hill it would stop raining. Oh well, at least I got a picture of it in the rain.
  8. The Ride/Attraction/Feature that was given to me did not sound like something that I would like to see added to the park.
  9. Anyone know how busy(or slow) it should be this Thursday. I'll only be there in the evening, driving down from NorCal with a CityPass over a six day Weekend.
  10. I'm moving to Texas next year, so I'm not really interested in that one at the moment. I'm in the middle of hitting the major West Coast parks, so that one's out, which leaves just the PNW tour. Unfortunately I just found out that I'm going to have an additional Dental bill coming in at the end of the month, so I might have to bow out of that one as well( I selected somewhat interested). I am still all in for the Mini-New-Hotness Tour, if I can get some additional funds together, and the PNW Tour is added, I'll sign up for it.
  11. Just wanted to say thanks for the event, I had a blast. I've been going on coasters since I was a kid, but I haven't visited many parks nor been on too many different coasters, well this weekend saw my 50th Coaster with Apocalypse, hopefully I'll be able to keep this trend up. I hope everyone got home safely.
  12. Good morning Bashers, gates open in a half an hour , I can't wait to meet everyone attending. I think I might actually be too excited for this.
  13. 10 hour drive from Redding to Disneyland, but I've arrived. Yay WCB tomorrow see you all in the morning.
  14. Nalley Chili, I can't get enough of the stuff, my stomach disagrees with me, but what the hell does it know.
  15. The Coasters at SCBB in 1976 when I was a year and a half old, not exactly sure which was first, but speaking with my Mother I believe it was most likely the Wild Mouse. That ride was torn down shortly after and trying to pick my families brains for more info from four decades ago isn't always the easiest thing to do. I wish we had the cell phones and compact cameras that are available nowadays.
  16. Hi neighbor! I live in Sterling Wondering what kind of job you have that you're able to take more than 2-3 weeks off per year? Not trying to be a creepster, honestly interested because for me trying to get anything more than 2 weeks is impossible. There are a lot of places that'll give more time off, you just have to be able to negotiate for it or look for those that offer it. I currently work for WinCo Foods, which offers up to a month paid vacation, more time off is available if you don't mind not getting paid for it.This year I've taken a half dozen short vacations down to the SF Bay area and a one week trip to Reno, this short trip to WCB another similar trip to San Francisco in two weeks, plus another full vacation back down to L.A. in October.
  17. That's the same problem that I'm faced with at the moment, I plan on moving to Fort Worth sometime around March and I don't think that I'll have enough money to anything other than the Mini New Hotness Tour. I'd like to add on the West Coast Summer Tour and I'd really love to do Scandi, but bills don't get paid when you're out playing, so I think I'll have to wait until 2015 before I hit up more tours.
  18. Just got the email and it looks like it's going to be one hell of a weekend. I don't think that I'm going to get a whole lot of sleep, especially going to Disneyland the night before WCB starts. I can't wait.
  19. Definitely Mini New Hotness and possibly Summer West Coast, I'd love to do Scandi but I don't know if I could at this point.
  20. Cargo shorts are definitely the way to go, though on Superman UF I still tend to grab my pockets during the hang time. lol
  21. For anyone that is interested myself and another member will be hitting Disneyland on Friday before WCB, I'll be in L.A. hopefully between Noon and 2. Let me know via PM or email and we can set up meeting times or whatever works.
  22. www.outlisten.com is a site that is making custom concert videos, when the bands record audio directly from their mixer and fans upload cell phone videos from the event the site takes this and syncs it up for custom live videos. It's been around for awhile now but is still fairly unknown. The latest video that is on YouTube.
  23. ^ It's possible, I'm driving down from NorCal on Friday, it'd take about 9 hours for me to get from my house to the park entrance, but if I got an early enough start I might be able to make it down at about 4 or 5pm, that would still give me enough time to walk around and do a few things.
  24. Don't wait to talk to your parents, if they are open to the idea of you traveling on your own then you can tap into their experience for the trip. I know it may be something you want to do on your own, but without the experience of traveling, you have no idea of all the things that can go wrong. Take advantage of others experience when making travel plans.
