Plastic, paper or...? The Bags Poll!
Rocket Rodder replied to Nrthwnd's topic in Random, Random, Random
I can successfully shop for myself. A guy has to get what he likes nowadays.. I'm proud to say I've been using reusable bags... pretty much all my life. Even since before the stores "invented" them. -
Gas Prices where you live

Some areas here in L.A. charge as much as $3.79 a gallon for gasoline. T_T -
The Sky Snake.... (NL)
Rocket Rodder replied to Rocket Rodder's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
And here are some pictures. This is all for now. I had to start over because doing the supports as I went just didn't cut it. It looked hideous! So I started over, and it's turning out better than ever so far. EDIT: I changed the phrase from 'more mature' to 'more intense'. And the tracks looking absolutely hideous as well has been changed. One of many turns on the Sky Snake.. And that's not even one full block section! The trains. I like the color scheme, it's not the norm, you know? The seats won't fade easily, either.. they're molded plastic! 8D -
Efteling Tycoon
Rocket Rodder replied to Frankie's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
You know what'd be neat? A game with RCT2 graphics (It is better than 3 IMO. Not so blocky. ) yet the rides could have a ride view or you could have a 'guest view' or something.. that way you'd get the best of both. Nice smooth rides with new elements and an optional 3D view.. Is this a joke, though? O_o;; -
Height and riding coasters...?
Rocket Rodder replied to Bucket's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I know it's not a coaster.. but because of my build I can't ride Perilous Plunge at Knott's. I'm 6'3 myself, but because I have wide shoulders I don't fit into the restraints. My niece has the opposite problem. She's so tiny, she's afraid she'd fly out of many OTSR rides. (but she's 5'9") -
Sky Snake.. I unfortunately have no pictures YET, but I will take some very soon, when the coaster looks more presentable. I do have a nice story for you, though.. Long ago, there was a small village resting near a mountain in the Falkan Empire.. According to legend, there lived a mystical creature known only as the Sky Snake. The Sky Snake went about day by day, going about her own business, swooping up and over the trees, up to the clouds and back, Always trying to tease the other animals, even the villagers. She was cunning and played many a trick and prank on the unsuspecting townspeople.. They tried to come up with a plan to end her stunts.. They failed tragically. She could dish out the pranks, but she could not take them. What happened that sent such chaos throughout the land? One simple answer... Her bite could send even the strongest warrior into a seemingly eternal daze.. And now a ride description. It's a spinning coaster, with sharp turns, and sudden drops. Diving in and out of trees, with water and (possibly) Fire effects.. this should be a pretty.. insane ride. Pictures to come very soon. Think of this as a more intense and thoroughly screwed up version of Sierra Sidewinder. It's faster, and 'riding' it actually got ME dizzy. EDIT!! So.. as some of you know.. at least here, i'm color scheme challenged. Some might like the color scheme of Fusia with dark blue supports.. So I'm thinking... Unless you'd like the idea of those colors.. help me decide! EDIT: IT'S DONE! My first ever! (Admins.. If it is at all possible.. would you be willing to take away the 'poll' option? I've tried to but I don't think I can.. @_@ ) THE SKY SNAKE.zip Here's the track itself. WARNING! This may cause dizzyness, so Ride with caution! The Top-O-The-Station Cam.. Wow! Lift hill Enthusiasts Rejoice! Isn't she lovely?
-
Okay.. Stations. How can I use/find them? I'd even like to know if it's possible to build my own! And then, using tunnels. How?? @__@ And, do you know of a place where I could find some type of ambient scenery? I'm creating a Sierra sidewinder-like coaster... Only a bit more interestingly themed. (I think. ) Thank you! EDIT: There's an option for TUNNELS while clicking on each SEGMENT.. Boy do I feel dumb.

Aww.. That's too cute! 83 She laughed.. 83 She reminds me of my nephew.. She's gonna be the next thrill rider I say.

Moral... Principle..? *eye twitch* I do back you guys up, though. As strange as this sounds, I LOVE my meat, and would never give it up.. I like a good Salad too. But yeah, it is pretty nasty, though, about how rude some people can be. I have a friend as well who is a vegetarian and she's turned me on to a lot of healthy and tasty stuff.. like that.. uh.. Hummous (SP) stuff. I choose to believe that some animals were created to be eaten. It happens. Some weren't. (Obviously) I do like my meat but I do care from where it comes too.. Cruel irony and a morbid sense of humor here, but it's not cool if the animal was mistreated before cow became hamburgers, ya know?

This is kind of stupid, feel free to laugh at me and whatnot.. This was after thirteen hours of Riptide last Saturday. TPR were all there, with With Robb and things, they were about to board. Only Riptide (A Topspin at Knott's) was themed to a space shuttle and spun riders for 37 times.. instead of the 6. The ride was called "Space Shuttle" and had lights everywhere.. looked pretty cool! Anyway... I was in dispatch and was supposed to commence the ride cycle.. Then a couch appeared in the dispatch booth. I was like "No, I want to go back to sleeep... " So I did and let all the guests onboard "hangin'", as it were. Very bizarre dream.. Knott's has taken over my dream world too.. (But I love it there.)

Who's brainchild was the Tums names anyway? Just curious.. O_o RatTums is kind of cute for a name as it fits.. but how did they even start? (Especially with yours, Elissa. )

I usedto drive a Plymouth Acclaim. I don't remember what year it was.. I'm guessing '98. Had to sell it, though... So I've gotten very used to the Bus Systems here in So Cal. But soon I will be driving again. I set my sights on something like a.... Dodge Magnum. -

Stupid things we did as (little?) children!
Rocket Rodder replied to Rocket Rodder's topic in Random, Random, Random
My cousin... did something incredible when she was little... She was a fan of the little mermaid. She'd look at ariel and go "Mommy! Look at her eyeballs!" Now.. before, because her mom has a baby, she was ... feeding him in a certain way. (Some of you should get my drift.) Anyway, she walked in on her using a pump or something.. (I have no idea.) and screamed "MOMMY!! What are you d..doing to y..your... Eyeballs!" So that's where she got "eyeballs" from. So we took her to Disneyland, and into World of Disney or something... where she could get a little mermaid suit. She asked "DOES IT COME WITH EYEBALLS?" so loud, everyone stopped and stared at us. We all started laughing, as we knew what she meant, but other people found it funny and they hadn't a clue as to what was going on. Haaa... We tease her to this day about "Eyeballs". -

There was a friend of mine who worked for Disneyland.. I was visiting that day (I know this isn't little child, but it's still stupid! D: ) Some girl who sold balloons handed him this whole bunch of balloons that lost air. she had to get rid of them as she couldn't sell them. About five minutes later we heard THE loudest band ever. The idiot stomped on them! I was like... "O______________________________O;;" -

Hahaha... I was about 12, my cousin Brittany, then 11, were playing N64, Mario Party 1 and 2. (Anyone remember that? :'') ) The power went out, we were left home alone with my grandmother, who was then.. just doing her own thing. We were bored out of our WITS! We used my grandmother's old wheelchair (which used to be mine when I was a kid... don't ask.) to walk three MILES to my other cousin's house, who had just moved in, they were painting. After staying for ten minutes, we left because we didn't want to impose. SO we went back, to find the power STILL down. But the phones were working. This is where it gets interesting. We made CRANK CALLS!! (prank calls.. same thing, no?) She and I took turns; I'd dial random numbers, asking for random people. I'd be like "Hey, is.... trinas there?" Some random names we'd come up with. One time, I was like "Hi, is Shena there?" and the guy was "Hold on." We got so scared, I hung up. She was n better. She called WAL MART and asked them if they sold Kobe Beef... from Japan.. she put on a fake oriental accent.. they turned her down. She called the best spa in the city, asked them if they did Mudbaths.. they said YES. She asked them if it was with REAL mud.. because her skin had to have pure things on it.. (She had this snobby rich old woman voice on her.) Of course the spa said no, it was a special mud they created.. She asked a pizza parlor if they sold ice cream.. I asked a barber if this was a butcher shop.. Man.. good times.. Untill the parents found the phone bill.
